Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

Pascal was a quiet soul, a man of few words but full of purpose. A focused public health officer who dedicated his life to serving humanity, only for his life to be cut short so painfully and mercilessly at his own gate. It is heartbreaking and deeply disturbing.

The insecurity situation in Bungoma is becoming alarming. No family should wake up to such devastating news. No child deserves to lose a parent in such a cruel manner. When you kill a father and leave behind innocent children, you leave wounds that may never fully heal. Those little souls will now grow up yearning for the love, guidance, and protection of their father.

Ya Allah, this pain is too heavy for his family, friends, and all who knew him. We ask You, the Most Merciful, to forgive Pascal all his shortcomings, widen and illuminate his grave with Noor, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah grant patience (Sabr) and strength to the family during this painful moment. May He protect the orphaned children and raise for them people of kindness and compassion.

“Every soul shall taste death.”
But some deaths leave hearts shattered beyond words.
