On Saturday May 24, the 2025 Spring Edition will close with a distinguished evening of chamber music featuring the Amman Chamber Orchestra Trio (ACO Trio).
Ihab Jamal concertmaster at the ACO and Leader of the Oriental Section, Jana Semaan Principal Cellist, and Karim Said ACO Principal Conductor, Artist in Residence at the Lebanese National Philharmonic Orchestra and Conservatory, and Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, London.
The trio will be joined in the second part of the program by Marwa El Eid (Violinist) and Sarah Mallah (Violist).
The program showcases two cornerstones of the 19th-century chamber repertoire: Bedřich Smetana’s Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 15, a deeply expressive work shaped by personal experiences, and Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, Op. 44, renowned for its brilliance, lyricism, and for being one of the most beloved chamber works.
