Dear All, please read and share
Our goal is simple — to build the best possible electric bike at the lowest possible price, without ever compromising on quality, safety, performance, or style.
We will introduce three versions, allowing you to choose according to what you can afford today, with the freedom to upgrade later when you are ready. We do not believe in producing cheap, short-lived products that fail within a few years and ultimately cost you more in repairs and frustration.
In electric mobility, some things can never be compromised:
safety, chassis strength, braking performance, riding stability, drivetrain reliability, battery quality, and fast-charging capability. Our bikes are engineered so you can charge in 30 minutes or less, ride comfortably, and experience performance that transforms everyday travel into something exciting and proud.
Comfort, aesthetics, and presence matter too. When you ride and park your bike, it should feel good — it should look good on you. At every traffic light, you should feel confident, powerful, and proud.
Starting at Rs. 1.48 million + VAT, our bikes deliver performance and engineering comparable to machines costing Rs. 3–5 million. But beyond price and performance, there is something far more meaningful:
You are riding a vehicle designed, engineered, and manufactured in Sri Lanka.
Every Elektrateq vehicle, every ChargeNET charger, every Vega bike represents more than transportation — it represents a belief that Sri Lanka can build world-class technology. With the ETX, we proved this. Within a short time, we manufactured and delivered over hundreds of units, and customers willingly paid a little more because they recognised true world-class quality. Today, those customers are happy — and many return to buy again.
So we must ask ourselves as a nation:
Why do we continue to depend on cheap imports that compromise safety, performance, and durability? Why accept vehicles that take hours to charge, put lives at risk, and fail prematurely — when better technology exists right here at home?
With fast charging, long range (150–350 km), and drastically lower fuel and maintenance costs, the small additional investment quickly pays for itself. In the end, you save money, reduce risk, and upgrade your lifestyle — while helping build technology within Sri Lanka.
We are not traders importing low-quality products, adding margins, and enriching ourselves while draining foreign currency. Every rupee earned from our products is reinvested into research, engineering, local expertise, and the next generation of Sri Lankan innovators.
To policymakers, we say this respectfully:
If locally designed and locally owned intellectual property received proper support — reduced taxes, incentives, and national encouragement — adoption would accelerate dramatically. Young Sri Lankans would be inspired to create, not merely trade. We could move from a trading economy to a true product economy, where Sri Lanka manufactures high-value technology for the world.
And to importers who flood our market with unsafe, low-quality products purely for profit — we must speak honestly.
Every cheap product that sacrifices safety puts Sri Lankan lives at risk. Every unnecessary import weakens our economy, exports our wealth, and discourages local innovation. Short-term profit built on low standards harms not only consumers but the future of our nation.
Sri Lanka deserves better.
Sri Lankans deserve better.
Let us build products that carry pride, intelligence, and craftsmanship. Let us create industries that generate knowledge, expert jobs, and global respect. Let us prove that Sri Lankans are not followers — but creators, engineers, and innovators capable of standing among the best in the world.
Together, through Elektrateq, ChargeNET, Vega, and many more innovations to come, we are not just building vehicles — we are building a nation.
Be part of this journey.
Let us rise together and make Sri Lanka great — with products we can proudly call our own.
With gratitude and determination,
