I want to be an entrepreneur but without the hardships?
That’s what I hear a lot.
And as a Gen Z myself, it’s frustrating to see this mindset.

Social media made it look easy freedom, flexing, fast money.
But truth is, business isn’t just about money.
It’s about surviving storms most people aren’t ready for.

Early days of a business?
You’re lucky if it even covers your bills.
You might fall into debt before you see a profit.
And no one talks about that.

80% say they want to start a business.
But are they ready to give up holidays, sleep, fun?
Being your own boss isn’t freedom it’s full responsibility.

Too many young founders are chasing success
with zero understanding of competition, market, or the future and no passion.
Just vibes and a logo.

Every business I started was driven by one thing: Quality.
Not being cheaper.
Some came from solving real problems.
Some from strategy.
Some with partners.
None were easy.

I’m not successful yet.
Not chasing success either.
I want to build something that actually matters.
Because if you’re in it just for a few extra bucks this isn’t for you.

If you truly have passion, you’ll enjoy the 9-5 or the 24/7.
Ask yourself:
Why do you want to start a business?

The journey’s not easy.

Met a marketing mind

well, let’s say marketing mastermind, yeah that fits better! 😄

Couple of days back I saw a video of Del Shad Hanefa and I’ve been engaging with his content for a while.

I really wanted to meet him he's from Kandy too.

I dropped a message and he said, “Let’s meet!” Gave me a time and venue, and even bought me a coffee ☕

Our conversation? 🔥
From the fast-paced marketer in me to the stable strategist in him, we talked about content marketing, branding, real-time impact, and working strategies.

I was in a meeting with my German client, and something unexpected came up…

He said, “Something strange happened on the website.”

I was already dealing with a few other issues, and I thought here we go again.

But then he said, “I got a sale… and the source was ChatGPT.”

That caught me off guard. But it actually made sense.

Lately, I’ve been learning more about AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) to align it with our SEO strategies. And looks like it’s already starting to show results.

Let me share a quick breakdown of our current core SEO strategy (EEAT):

- E – Experience: We begin by redesigning the campaign to reflect user experience.
- E – Expertise: We publish blogs to demonstrate niche knowledge.
- A – Authority: We build consistent backlinks to strengthen authority.
- T – Trustworthiness: We focus on secure, authentic content with testimonials.

Seeing the impact beyond search engines—like conversions through AI tools—shows we’re moving in the right direction.
