🔴 ඔයා ඇත්තටම Graphic Designer කෙනෙක්ද ?

🔸 මම දකින ආකාරයට Graphic designer කෙනෙක් යනු එක්තරා ආකාරයක චිත්‍ර ශිල්පියෙක් ඒත් ඔහු නවීන පන්නයේ චිත්‍ර ශිල්පියෙක් , Graphic Designer කෙනෙක් වෙන්න නම් අනෙකාව තේරුම් ගැනීමේ ශක්තිය ඉතාමත් දියුනු මට්ටමක තිබිය යුතුයි . අනෙකාගේ අදහස් සහ ඔහුගේ සිත තුල ඇති රූපය Designer ට යථාර්තයේ නිර්මාණය කළ හැකි විය යුතුයි .

• Design එකක් කරන විට මම පිළිපදින ක්‍රමයක් .

🔸 මම විනෝදාංශය සදහා graphic design කරන කෙනෙක් . මට හැම වෙලේම ඕනේ මගේ design එකෙන් කතාවක් කියන්න try කරන්න . ඒක අතීත කතාවක් , වර්ථමාණයේ පැණ නැගී ඇති ප්‍රශ්නයක් හෝ අලුතෙන් නිර්මාණය කරපු කතාවක් වෙන්න පුලුවන් . එහෙම කරන එකෙන් ඔයාගේ design එකට ලොකු value එකක් දෙන්න පුලුවන් . එහෙම කරන ලංකාවේ designersලට සරල උදාහරණයක් ලෙස Project De Marco , Aalash D Alexander ගන්න පුලුවන්. ඔහුන්ගේ design තුල ඔහුන් හැමතිස්සෙම ලොකු කතාවක් හංගලා තාමා design එක publish කරන්නේ . ඒ design එක බලනවට වඩා හොද කියවීමක් කරොත් ලස්සන කතාවක් අපිට design එකෙන් බල්න්න පුලුවන් .මම කියන්නේ මොකක්ද කියන එක තවමත් පැහැදිලි නැත්තම් ඔහුන්ගේ profile වලට ගිහින් බලන්න.

• මෙහෙම කතා කියන්න පුලුවන් කොහොමද ?

🔸 මම දකින විදිහට කතාවක් කියන්න පුලුවන් හොදම
Graphic design ශෛලියන් එහෙමත් නැත්තම් graphic design genres වන්නේ collage arts සහ manipulation arts. ඒවාගෙන් ලොකු කතාවක් එලියට දෙන්න පුලුවන් .

• අනාගතයේදී graphic design වලට මොකක් වෙයිද ?

🔸 අනාගතයේදී graphic designer ලා අඩු වෙන්න හෝ නැති වෙන්න ලොකු ඉඩකඩක් තියනවා . ඒත් Ai එකකට ලොකු කතාවක් සහ හංගපු අර්ථයක් දෙන design එකක් හදන්න තව ගොඩක් කල් යයි . ඔයත් කැමති නැද්ද නූතන ලියනාඩෝ ඩාවින්චි, මයිකල්ඇන්ජලෝ කෙනෙක් වෙන්න , එහෙනම් අද ඉදන් මේ දැන් ඉදන් ලොකු අර්ථයක්යක් දෙන Designs හදන්න පටන් ගන්න. අනාගතයේදී චිත්‍ර වගේම Graphic Design ගැනද ලොකුවට කතා කරන ගැබුරින් අධ්‍යනයන් කරන්න වෙන යුගයක් නිර්මාණය කරන්න මුල් අඩිතාලම දමමු.

🔴 වාත Custommers ලා හදුනා ගනිමු , (Red Flag customer to avoid as a Graphic Designer)

මුලික අදහස:

ඔයාගෙ වේලාව, ශක්තිය සහ මුදල් ඉතුරු කර ගැනීම සඳහා බොරු පාරිභෝගිකයින් (වාත customers) හඳුනා ගැනීම ඉතාම වැදගත්. සමහරුන් මුල්ම massage එකේ සිටම අවදානම් හැසිරීම් පෙන්නයි . ඒවා හඳුනා ගන්න පුළුවන් නම් ඔයාට ඔයාගෙ කාලය ශ්‍රමය ඉතිරි කර ගන්න ලොකු පහසුවක් .

🚩 වාත customers ලා හදුනා ගන්න උදව්වක් වන Red Flags 10ක්

1. "ඉස්සෙල්ලාම little sample එකක් කරන්න පුළුවන්ද?"

👉 මෙය නොමිලේ වැඩ කරගන්න හෝ ඔයාගෙ හැකියාව පරීක්ෂා කරන්න උත්සහයකි.

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: ඔයාගෙ portfolio එකක් පෙන්නන්න.

2. "මගේ යාලුවො නම් මට අඩුවට කරලා දෙනවා. තව මං දන්න හොද එක්කෙනෙකුත් ඉන්නවා"

👉 ඔබේ වටිනාකම අඩු කරලා payment එකට බලපෑමක් කරන්න හදන උත්සහයක්.

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: ඔයාගෙ පළපුරුද්ද සහ quality එකේ වටිනාකම පැහැදිලි කරන්න.

3. “එකක් හදලා එවන්න , තව මොනවද අඩුපාඩු කියලා මට දැක්කම තේරෙයි."

👉 මෙය ඉතා අවදානම්. කිසිම plan එකක් නැතුව revision ගොඩක් ඉල්ලන්න chance එකක් තියෙනවා.

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: පැහැදිලි plan/ guidance එකක් ඉල්ලන්න. Extra revisions වලට payment එකක් ගන්න.

4. "ඔය වැඩේ ඔයාට ලේසියි නේද?"

👉 ඔයාගේ time එක සහ skill එක අගය නොකරන පුද්ගලයෙක් .

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: ඔයාගෙ වේලාව සහ දක්ෂතාව වටිනා බව සුහදශීලීව කියන්න.

5. ප්‍රමාද සංවාද (Late reply)

👉 Late reply, vague feedback ( අපැහැදිලි feedback) තියෙනවා නම් project එක දික් වෙන්න පුළුවන්.

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: Start එකේම communication boundaries දාන්න.

6. Advance එකක් ගෙවන්න අකමැත්ත

👉 වැඩේ ඕන clientsලා deposit එකක් දෙනවා. අනික් අය ගෙවන්නෙ නැහැ.

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: වැඩේ Start කරන්න කලින් deposit එකක් අනිවාර්යයෙන් ලබා ගන්න.

7. "අපි contract එකක් නැතුව කරමුද?" ( ලොකු project වලදී අනිවාර්‍යය වේ )

👉 මෙය වගවීමක් නැතිව ඉන්න උත්සාහයක්.

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: අනිවාර්‍යෙන් ලිඛිත contract එකක් හෝ agreement එකක් ඇතිව project එක ආරම්භ කරන්න.

8. project එකේ සැකැස්ම මැදින් මාරු වෙන එක

👉 scope එක change කරනවානම් ඒකට fee එකක් අය කරන්න.

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: Contract එකේ clear scope එකක් සහ scope change policy එකක් දාන්න.

9. "කලින් designer සමග ගැටලු ඇතිවූ බව පැවසීම."

👉 මෙය warning එකක්. ගොඩක් වෙලාවට designer සමග තමයි ගැටලුව (design එකේ නෙමේ).

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: ඔහු/ඇය කලින් කරපු issue එක මොකද්ද කියලා අහලා පස්සෙ තීරණය කරන්න.

10. "මට පැය 2 න් design එක ඕනෙ " කියන එක

👉 කලින් කතා කරගත්තෙ නැති විදිහට client වැඩේට rush කිරීම.

✅ ඒ වෙනුවට: Rush fee එකක් charge කරන්න. Full payment එක ගන්න.

✅ අවසන් උපදෙස

ඔයා සෑම client කෙනෙක්ටම වැඩ කරන්න ඕනේ නැහැ.
ඔයාගෙ නිදහස, වේලාව, සහ රසවත් නිර්මාණශීලී බව ආරක්ෂා කරගන්න. Red flags හඳුනාගෙන, කාරුණිකව සහ මෘදු ලෙස "නැහැ/බැහැ" කියන්න ඉගෙන ගන්න.

✅ 1. Gather All Project Details
Make sure you fully understand what the client wants:
- What type of design? (Logo, flyer, banner, etc.)
- What size and format?
- Text, images, colors, or style preferences?

- Purpose and target audience?

- Set a realistic deadline for the project.
- If it’s urgent, mention any rush charges.

✅ 3. Set Your Price
- Decide if it’s a fixed price or per hour.
- Let them know what’s included (e.g., number of revisions).
- Be transparent — no hidden fees.

✅ 4. Discuss Payment Terms
- Ask for a 30% - 50% advance payment before starting.
- Mention your accepted payment methods (e.g., bank transfer, PayPal, etc.).
- Only start once payment is received (especially for new clients).

✅ 5. Send an Order Confirmation Message
This includes:
- Project details
- Total cost
- Deadline
- Payment info
- What's included

🔸Graphic design is not free !
🔹ග්‍රැෆික් නිර්මාණ නොමිලේ නොවේ !

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ වර්ථමාන ජන ජීවිතය තුල Digital ලෝකයේ දේවල් වලට වඩා වැඩි වටිනා කමක් physical ලෝකයේ දේවල් වලට ලබා දෙනවා. එම නිසා Graphic design වගෙ හෝ නොයෙකුත් Digital අංශයේ දේවල් ( softwares , games, images ) අපි නොමිලේ බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා, ඒ අපට එය භෞතිකව රසවිදීමට බැරි නිසා .

🔹Graphic design වරයෙකුගේ කාර්යභාරය .

Graphic Design එකක් නිර්මාණය සදහා ඉතාමත් ලොකු ශ්‍රමයක් එය සිදු කරන්නාට දැරිය යුතු වෙනවා.

ඔහු යොදා ගන්නා මෘදුකාංගයේ සිට (softwares) , Fonts , Brushes , පින්තූර ගොඩාක් වෙලාවට ඔහුට මිලදී ගැනීමට සිදුවෙනවා . ඊට අමතරව ඔහු එය සදහා යොදන කාලය ඉතාමත් වැදගත් . ගොඩාක් දුරට එය සෑදීම සදහා ගන්නා කාලයට වඩා එහි සැකැස්ම සෑදීමට හෝ සිතුවිල්ල (idea) සිතීමට වැඩි කාලයක් ගත වෙයි ( marketing strategies භාවිතය ) .

ඔබ යම් පුත්ගලයකුගෙන් උදව්වක් ඉල්ලන්නා වූ විට එම උදව්ව ඉල්ලන්නා වූ දෙය ඔහුගේ ආදායම් මාර්ගය නම් එම උදව්ව නොඉල්ලන තරමට හොදයි , ඒ මොකද ඔහු ඔහුට තවත් ආදායමක් ලැබෙන්නා වූ වැඩක් පාඩු කරන් ඔබේ උදව්ව කර දෙනවා විය හැක , ඔබට එය සාදාගැනීමට අවශ්‍යම නම් ඔබට එය සදහා වැය කළ හැකි උපරිම මුදල පවසා ඔහු එකග උනොත් එය සිදුකරන්න. එය පාර්ශ්වයන් දෙකටම හොදින් සහ ගැටලුවක් නැතිව ගනුදෙනු කරගන්නට පහසු ක්‍රමයයි

පාරිබෝගිකයාටත් ඔහුගේ අවශතාවයට සරිලන පරිදි එම කාර්යය සිදුකර දීම Graphic designer වරයාගේ ප්‍රධානම වගකීමයි .
