A great milestone for Sri Lanka and a proud moment for all Sri Lankan entrepreneurs! "Ceylon Cinnamon", a Sri Lankan brand has been recognized by the EU.

The once-ground-breaking app that introduced disappearing messages has unveiled another fascinating product.
The drone is named "Pixy" and is bound to be a sensation among photo and selfie enthusiasts.

Interestingly, Snap has used a very catchy tagline to promote Pixy - “Toys are preludes to serious ideas.”

Meta is rolling out "WhatsApp Communities".
As per the blog post by Meta, "Communities on WhatsApp will enable people to bring together separate groups under one umbrella with a structure that works for them. That way people can receive updates sent to the entire Community and easily organize smaller discussion groups on what matters to them."

It's an interesting addition to the offering WhatsApp already has and would be interesting to see how this can benefit marketing activities. Guess we would have to wait and see...

As per the 'Sri Lanka 100 2022' (The annual index of most valuable brands) by Brand Finance Sri Lanka, these are the Most Valued Brands in Sri Lanka for the current year 2022.

Dialog has managed to secure the top spot for the 4th consecutive year.
Amidst a challenging time, it's a positive sign that brands have managed to grow their 'brand value'. Even though it's by a small percentage.
