හාවාගල – Hawagala

බෙලිහුල්ඔය, එහෙම නැත්නම් පුංචි නුවරඑළිය කියන්නේ අපේ රටේ තවත් සුන්දර තෝතැන්නක් බව අමුතුවෙන් කිවයුතු නැහැ. සබරගමු පළාත වගේම මධ්යම පළාතත් පෙනෙන නොපෙනෙන මායිමක මේ සුන්දර බෙලිහුල්ඔය පිහිටා තියෙනවා. සීතල බෙලිහුල්ඔයට සමනල වැවත්, සබරගමු විශ්වවිද්යාල ප්රදේශයත් ආභරණයක් බව නම් සඳහන් කළ යුතුමයි.
බෙලිහුල්ඔය කිව්වම මතක් වෙන තවත් අපූරු කඳු පන්ති දෙකක් තිබෙනවා. ඒ හන්තාන කන්ද වගේම සබරගමු විශ්වවිද්යාලයට අභිමානය අරන් එන පරවියන්ගල හෙවත් ආදර කන්ද වගේම හාවාගල කන්ද. වාර්ෂික කඳු තරණය සඳහා සබරගමු සිසුන් මේ කඳුවැටියම තෝරා ගන්නේ ඒක එයාලාගේ ජීවිතයේ ගහට පොත්ත මෙන් බැඳිලා ඉන්න නිසායි. ආදර කන්ද වගේම අමතක කරන්න බැරි මේ හාවාගල කන්ද ආදර කන්ද වගේම සුන්දර මේ කන්දත් වැඩි වශයෙන්ම සරසවි සිසුන් අතර බොහෝ ආදරණීයයි. ඒ වාගේම ප්රසිද්ධයි. බෙලිහුල්ඔය නිම්නයේ වටිනාකම තවත් වැඩි කරන්නේ මේ කඳු පන්තින් දෙකයි.

කාත් කවුරුවත් නොදන්නා පළාතක, කඳු මුදුනක, සීතලේ තනිවී, අහස දිහා බලමින්, තරු ගනිමින් ගත කරන රාත්රිය, ඒ ජීවිතය හරිම පුදුමාකාරයි. ඒ අහස මවන තරු රටා හරියට අපි ආදරේ කරන අයගේ මුහුණුවර වගෙයි. ඉතින් කවුද ආස නැත්තේ මේ වගේ කඳු මුදුනක තනි වෙන්න. මේ

හාවාගලට වටේ වූ කඳු පන්තීන් කිහිපයක් තිබෙනවා. වම් පසින් ආදර කන්දත්, නන්පේරියල් කඳු යායත්, නැගරක්, හෝර්ටන් ප්ලේස් ලෝකාන්ත කඳු වැටියත්, දකුණු පස ඇතින් වූ පෙට්ටිගල කන්දත් අපූරුවට දකින්නට පුළුවන්. හාවාගල කන්දට පහළින් වූ බෙලිහුල්ඔය සරසවියත්, සමනල වැව හා හිරිකටු ඔයත්, ඇත නිම්නයකින් ඇඹිලිපිටිය හා චන්ද්රිකා වැව දක්වාත් ඉතා පුළුල්ව දැකගන්නත් පුළුවන්.
ජීවිතය විඳින්න, ජීවිතය දකින්න ඔබත් මේ වගේ කඳු තරණය කරන්න. එහි පහස අත්විඳින්න. එහි සුන්දරත්වය සියැසින් අත්විඳින්න.

Havagala Mountain is a beautiful mountain which is very much loved by the university students. It's also famous. These two mountains add to the value of the Belihuloya Valley.
Not like climbing mountains during the day. Night climbing is very risky. It's a different kind of adventure.
Hawawagala Mountain is located in the Upper Inugama area of Belihuloya. This event can be traversed by a road leading up to the Belihuloya rest house, which most people know very well.

There are several mountain ranges around Havagala. Beliwul-oya University, the Samanala Wewa and the Hirikatu Oya below the Hawawagala Mountain can be seen in a very wide range from the valley to the Embilipitiya and Chandrika Wewa.

This beautiful Belihuloya valley is beautiful. And it is Sukumalai. It is still the firstborn.
