Another Procurement Scandal Hits Liberia National Commission on Arms: Vice Chair Accused of Unauthorized Vehicle Purchase
Monrovia, Liberia – August 7, 2025 — Fresh allegations of financial impropriety have emerged at the Liberia National Commission on Arms (LNCA), with Vice Chairman Mr. Ben K. Wymon being accused of making an unapproved purchase of a vehicle worth $45,000 USD.
According to sources close to the Commission, Mr. Wymon allegedly acquired a Toyota Fortuner without the required approval from the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC) and the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning.
