Great day celebrating our "Water State!" From shopping water-themed vendors, visiting (and shopping) the booths of event beneficiaries Florida Springs Institute and Current Problems, viewing the beautiful water-themed art at The State of Water Juried Art Exhibition, and chatting with the springs community- it was the perfect celebration of our "Water State!"

Over the last couple of weeks I've had the pleasure of designing the logo for Bridlewood of High Springs. The design process was one of the smoothest I've ever had. The client had a clear vision, communicated frequently and effectively, and was a pleasure to work with.

Your Healthy Cancer Comeback and its companion journal, Healthy Cancer Comeback Journal, were definitely one of my favorite design projects to date!

When I first spoke to Fitz of Fitzness about her vision for the project the two words that kept popping up were "happy" and "fun." While neither "happy" nor "fun" are words one would usually associate with cancer treatment, they are two of my favorite words, so I was instantly intrigued by the concept of making a "happy and fun" cancer book and companion journal.

Fitz's voice throughout the book is encouraging and kind, her advice is simple and solid, and her exercise images are both stunning and presented in a way that makes exercise feel approachable and easy at a time that nothing feels easy. Somehow her thoughtful words and images combined with my colorful designs created a happy and fun guide to staying/getting healthy while going through cancer treatment, and an equally happy and fun inspiring companion journal!
