I created this design in support of Creators For Gaza - a mutual-aid network raising funds for families escaping genocide. Every campaign they run supports someone they personally know, or are directly connected to locally.
This one is for Mirna's family.
Their home in Al Remal neighbourhood was destroyed. They found temporary refuge in St. Porphyrius church. A few weeks later, the church was bombed and 20 people were killed in that attack. Mirna's family survived, but they are still living in the half of the building left standing, because there is nowhere else to go.
To cross into Egypt through Rafah, each person must pay $5,000 or more just to register at the border. 100% of the profit from every t-shirt goes directly to getting them out.
Buying a shirt means something real - you are providing the literal means for a family to escape a genocide. It means Mirna's family gets closer to the border. It means fewer nights in the ruins of a bombed church.
