We had an honor to redesign Latvian National Museum of Art digital space.

The challenge was to showcase 6 different structural units:

🔸Museum Storage Facility

Her name was Maija. She grew up so beautiful, that people names her the Rose of Turaida. Her life history turned into legend about faithful love.

We created label and packaging to celebrate her legend with a nice craft brut from local producer Zilver.

Colorful visuals celebrate many layers of Latvian song and dance identity - in honor, in sadness, doing work, in love and walking in nature.

Fonetika Grotesk typeface by Nauris Jostsons plays around the sound of a Latvian language. Type becomes a significant illustrative part of the message and creates motion.

TĪRA MĀJA UN TĪRA JŪRA / CLEAN HOUSE & CLEAN SEA

Awareness campaign to draw attention to the usage of everyday household products. The main idea: by making small and thoughtful changes we may preserve the natural microflora of water. It all started with a brief to create set of designs for out of home advertising campaign. More precisely – posters in bus stops. Shortly after presenting our ideas, client decided to do a whole video, where the images we created – the fishes, are the main heroes, doing chores.

The results of a research conducted in 2020 showed that the most important argument for the target audience (around 30 new mothers, young families) in the choice of cleaning products is their functionality (how well does it clean). While the "eco" concept is quite incomprehensible, there is a fear that the manufacturer will cheat with ingredients it uses or the product won’t clean as effectively. It was a challenge to make people see the value of the “Ecolabel” sign and why it is a standard of good quality and should be a conscious choice.

This progressive and modern health facility brings together medical professionals from different disciplines in one place. Emphatic communication is the centres main value: listening & hearing their patients, explaining healthcare processes they’re about to go through. Each person receives a warm treatment and a feeling of security executed by medical professionals who are experts in their field - these are the cornerstones of ZIN.

Exterior and interior of the ZIN.

Since windows are a big part of the health centres frontage, we used this space to showcase the centres key element – the cross, constructing a pattern from it and kept it in black and white to fit into guidelines of the Jaunā Teika residential area.

We just want for people to feel that they are in safe hands. That’s why the warm colours and mostly soft corners in typography, symbols and other visual elements. Round corners and padded walls would be taking the “being safe” concept a step too far, so the idea for the interior was to keep it cozy.
