Here’s the process to follow with every website we make:

1. Wire-framing. Fancy name for drawing squares on an iPad 😄 Every design has to come from a foundation of content. What and where things should be comes before how they look.

2. Design. We make at least 2 or 3 initial designs and iterate quickly. Rather than committing to one early, and then backtracking hours of work, we make incremental changes to arrive at the best solution.

3. Coding. Well, it would be coding, if not for the fact that tools we use don’t require that much code. For us, it makes it easy and cheap to make. For owners, less headaches managing and making changes.

Creating a live website is so much easier when the design process is well thought out. Modern tools allow you to prototype not just layout, but animations and interactions as well. Our favorite, by far, is . It’s free and incredibly versitile!

We tried to balance aesthetic values and practicality when making everygoodidea.com. After all, content is the most important element of the website, and you shouldn’t focus on distractions.

Our website is live! After many iterations, we settled on something that we think reflects us best.

We used our favourite website builder - . It makes it so easy to create and manage almost any type of website without worry of security, rogue plugins and making changes whenever we want to. Honestly, screw WordPress 😅
