When done right, I agree that this statement is true.

Now in case you’re wondering, WHY am I suddenly talking about this when I'm trying to specialize in FB Ads marketing.

If you keep reading you'll find out why…

As an ads strategist, I get to work with many team members in a client’s business.

And one thing I’ve learned is that email copywriting is certainly one of the most valuable channels for a business. Basically emails = money.

Let me try to explain why...

If we try to understand the customer journey.

In a nutshell, there are 3 stages

1️⃣ π‘¨π’„π’’π’–π’Šπ’”π’Šπ’•π’Šπ’π’

madaming ways to acquire customers like ( ads,organic marketing, seo, branding etc.)

In order to acquire new customers syempre you need to catch their attention & make them interested first.

One of the ways to do just that is through FB ads -I'll use it as an example since mas familiar ako dito and ito yung specialty ko.πŸ˜‰

So let's say an ideal audience saw an ad while scrolling sa feed.

Nag resonate yung ads sa target audience

Once they click the ad

Edi mapupunta sila ngayon sa website

Which brings us to the next stage

2️⃣ π‘ͺπ’π’π’—π’†π’“π’”π’Šπ’π’

at this stage.

The objective is to turn that attention into sales or consideration.

So dapat yung website is optimized for conversion.

It's a different skill set to optimize a website.

For me dapat at least easy to navigate & seamless yung buying process from the website.

We also have to understand that not everyone who click on the ads and goes to the website will buy right away.

In my experience nasa 1-2% yung first touch conversion.

Meaning if may 100 na nag click sa ads nasa 1-2 will turn into a buyers.

And this is where the email comes in.

3️⃣ π‘Ήπ’†π’•π’†π’π’•π’Šπ’π’

Emails can help retain website visitor attention & existing customers.

How???

madaming ways actually.

Let me give you one example.

Let's say yung nag click sa ads napunta sa website.

Nag add to cart.

Pero di nakapag check out for some reason like: sudden phone calls from jowa or niyaya ng jowa kumain ng jajangmyeon, or undecided lang tlaga sya etc.😁

In this scenario if may email marketing in place.

Makakareceive sya ng "Abandoned Cart Email sequence"

Basically, it's a way to follow up and remind those people na nag add to cart pero dipa nag proceed sa checkout

So imagine if you are the customer and you receive such email reminding you about your abandoned cart tapos may discount offer pa.

Highly likely you will buy right?

And that's only one of the powers emails can do.

Emails can also nurture existing customers with the objective to increase repeat buyers.

And as a digital marketer, I have to understand how this works from acquisition, conversion to retention.

Coz they are complementary to one another and really help me when it comes to delivering results to clients.

So learning how to write emails that can sell can be a lucrative skill too.

Running Ads is not enough to make your business become profitable.

Yes, you heard that right!

If you are struggling to convert your audience or leads into sales you might find this helpful.

You see...

Running Ads to increase traffic or reach is only half the battle.

We call this the first touchpoint.

Let me explain.

Let's say for example 1,000 people clicks on your ads. But only 100 people bought your products or services.

What about the remaining 900 people?

How do we convert them?

The Answer is...

✨Follow-ups. A lot of Follow-ups! ✨

By doing this.

We're not only maximizing traffic and the money we spend on ads but also helping our audience go to the next steps necessary to get the solutions to their problems.

It's very normal that people won't convert right away the first time seeing or clicked on our ads.

In fact, most of the sales usually happen on follow-ups.

Now, there are a lot of ways to do just that.

Here are 2 of what I use:

1. We can show retargeting ads to help those people that have shown interest in your products and show ads that will help them go to the next steps.

2. We can use emails to nurture and build relationships with our audience.

Sending Emails like:

Welcome emails
Reminder emails
Post-purchase emails
Promotional emails
Informational emails
Etc.

Send something that provides value and answers their objections when it comes to getting your products or services.

Our goal is to give them the opportunity to make an informed decision even if that decision is a NO.

This for me is one of the most sustainable way to do marketing and sales.🌱
