A 11-year-old Great Dane was rescued after a brutal past.

Neglect. Abandonment. Years of survival mode.

Then one moment changed everything.
He was adopted by a man who didn’t see “a problem dog.”
He saw a soul that still wanted to trust.

The middle of this story isn’t flashy.
It’s slow walks. Warm beds. Quiet mornings.
Learning that hands can be gentle.
That home can mean safety.

And the ending
Not perfect
But peaceful.
A dog who finally gets to live the life he should have had all along.

This is why stories move people.

Not because they are dramatic
But because they have a clear timeline:
Start: the pain
Middle: the change
End: the meaning

For brands, this structure matters more than any hook.

A strong 1 to 2 minute video needs:
• A clear starting point. What was broken, missing, or misunderstood
• A middle that shows real change in small moments
• An ending that gives the audience a reason to care

The emotional arc is what carries attention.
Tension. Relief. Hope.
You do not need hype. You need honesty and detail.

Show the tiny moments.
The hesitation before trust.
The first calm breath.
The shift from surviving to living.

That is how people remember your message.
Not because you told them what to think.
But because you let them feel the journey.

What story is your brand telling right now.
And does it have a beginning, a middle, and an ending people can follow?

This tiny monkey story did what most marketing campaigns never will

A small story about a baby monkey named Punch reminded me how deeply a well-crafted story can move people.

Punch was rejected by his mother at birth. Caretakers gave him a stuffed toy for comfort, and a photo of him clinging to it spread across the internet.

People didn’t just see an image; they felt something real. Compassion. Connection.

Then something remarkable happened: IKEA Japan noticed.

Inspired by Punch’s story, they donated dozens of plush toys to comfort other infant monkeys at the zoo.

That’s the power of storytelling.

The right story doesn’t just go viral — it changes outcomes.

Real strategy shows up in results, not noise

Fast growth can feel exciting, but when it comes at the cost of ownership, decision power, or data access, it limits your ability to steer the business later. Control means you decide what gets built, who you serve, how you price, and how you adapt when things shift.

UGC formats and metrics that unlock scale for small teams

Once you know the UGC script formula, the next step is formatting and measurement.
This is where small teams can punch above their weight.

Start with a few proven UGC formats:

✔️ Problem solution

✔️ Tutorial or how-to

✔️ An honest review that answers real objections

✔️ Comparison between options your buyer is already considering

✔️ Raw, low-polish video that looks like real life, not an ad

✔️ Day in the life or routine where the product appears naturally

✔️ Short educational list where the product is the logical next step

Pick two or three of these that fit your brand and brief your creators around them. Let them adapt the idea to their voice instead of forcing every word.

Then look at performance through two lenses.

Primary metrics
Spend, cost per result, purchases, and return on ad spend. These tell you if the ad is working.

Story metrics
Hook rate, view-through, and click-through rate. These tell you why it is working or why it is not.

If the hook rate is low, your opening is not landing.
If people watch but do not click, you may be attracting the wrong audience, or your offer is off.
If both are strong, you have a story worth scaling.

For a small team, the goal is not perfect creative. The goal is a repeatable process. Right creators, clear structure, a mix of formats, and a simple way to read the numbers.

I hope this UGC series brings you clarity and fresh ideas. ✌️

The simple UGC script formula that sells✌️

Most UGC fails not because the creator is bad, but because the story has no structure. It starts talking and never leads the viewer anywhere.

Here is the simple formula I use when I write UGC scripts for Meta ads. Think of it as modular content you can mix and match between creators.

The core modules are

✔️ Hook

✔️ Problem agitator

✔️ Solution

✔️ Features and benefits

✔️ Social proof

✔️ Clear call to action

You do not have to use every piece in every ad, but you want the building blocks ready.

Example flow for a user-generated video:

Hook
Grab attention fast and speak to a specific person. The first three seconds help Meta decide who should see the ad, so this moment matters more than ever.

Problem agitator
Deepen the pain. Make the viewer feel seen. This is where relatability happens.

Solution
Introduce your product or service as the answer to that specific pain.

Features and benefits
Show how it works and what changes in the customer’s life when it works.

Social proof
Quick review, result, or proof point that says this is real.

Call to action
Tell people exactly what to do next.

Small teams can build a whole library by recording multiple versions of each module. Then you can test different combinations without rewriting everything from scratch.

Part three will cover the UGC formats and metrics that matter so you know what to test first.

The Real Reason UGC Still Wins on Meta and What Changed This Year 👍

If you want to scale on Meta, you cannot ignore creator content.

There is a lot of talk that UGC is dead. The reality is very different. In a recent review of twenty brands, more than half of the best-performing ads were creator content. For brands spending seven figures per month on Meta, that number was even higher.

What changed is not the format. What changed is that people now know what UGC is. They know most creators are paid. So basic product demos with a forced script no longer work.

What still works is content that feels intimate and specific. People trust creators who show up for their audience, have a clear point of view, and actually use what they talk about.

For small teams, this is good news. You do not need celebrities or glossy shoots.

You need:

✔️ A clear audience you want to speak to

✔️ Creators who already talk to that audience

✔️ Topics they are genuinely excited to share

I will walk you through the UGC approach I use with small teams so you feel confident guiding creators.

Are You Testing Your Ads the Way Meta Rewards Right Now? 🤔

Cold testing only works when it becomes a rhythm.

✔️ Most small businesses test once, pick a favorite too early, and scale before they have any real data.

The setup in this graphic shows a simpler path.
✔️ You keep one testing campaign running with a clear budget, a CBO structure, and new creative batches every week.

Each batch hits a broad audience while excluding your current customers so you can see how well the idea performs cold.

When you treat testing like a weekly practice, you learn what your audience reacts to, what falls flat, and which concepts have the strength to scale. This is how you find real winners instead of guessing.

How to Test Facebook Ads the Right Way in a Cold Audience

Testing cold audiences on Facebook does not need to feel complicated🫠

The Andromeda structure that works best is actually very simple. You focus on one place to test and one place to scale.

The goal is to see how your ideas perform in front of people who have never heard of you, then pick the ones that can truly hold their own.

✔️ This graphic breaks down how to set up your testing campaign inside Facebook Ads Manager, how to balance your budget, and how to rotate new creative every week so you never run dry.

✔️ When you treat cold testing like a consistent creative lab, you learn faster, find winners quicker, and build ads that are strong enough to scale.
