في عام 1982، أعاد المصمم الغرافيكي سالفاتوري غريغورييتي، المولود في باليرمو عام 1941، تعريف شعار بيريللي الأيقوني، مُرسِّخًا مكانته كرمز خالد للهوية المؤسسية. تلقّى غريغورييتي تعليمه في ثانوية بريرا الفنية في ميلانو، وفي مدرسة الفنون والحِرَف في زيورخ، وبدأ مسيرته المهنية في ستينيات القرن الماضي مع ماسيمو فينييلي، حيث عمل على تصاميم لصالح «ميلانو ليبري». وفي عام 1965 انضم إلى «يونيمارك إنترناشونال»، وتعاون مع بوب نوردّا في مشاريع هوية بصرية لشركات كبرى مثل «أجيب» و«فيلترينيلي».

بالنسبة لبيريللي، قام غريغورييتي بتوحيد استخدام حرف «P» الممدود في الشعار، وهو إشارة إلى توقيع المؤسس جيوفاني باتيستا بيريللي، الذي ظهر لأول مرة عام 1914 لكنه كان يُستخدم بشكل غير منتظم. وقد تضمّن دليل عام 1982 تفاصيل دقيقة لنِسَب الحروف والمسافات بينها، إضافة إلى تصميمي حرفي «R» و«E»، لضمان توحيد الشعار في جميع تطبيقاته.

لاحقًا، وفي عام 1997، قام بيرلويجي تشيري بتوسيع هذا التحديث، مع التركيز على مفهومي السرعة والثبات بما ينسجم مع هوية بيريللي في صناعة الإطارات. وأصبح التصميم المتين للشعار علامة فارقة، لا سيما من خلال رعاية بيريللي لنادي إنتر ميلان بين عامي 1995 و2021. وقد ترك غريغورييتي، الذي أسّس لاحقًا شركة «Gregorietti Associati» وفاز بجائزة «كومباسو دورو» عن مجلة «أوتّاغونو»، بصمة دائمة في عالم التصميم الغرافيكي من خلال هذا المشروع.
