The story behind started in the 90s.

After 14+ years of expertise as a Chinese medicine practitioner I became a father, her name is Bayan and she is now 14 months old πŸ₯°
Having a beautiful little princess at home makes it pretty hard to leave that harmonious space -home- (if you're a purebred entrepreneur and a father, you might agree with me on this: When you've got a baby, you suddenly start to understand and experience the meanings of home, house, staying at home, etc.).

I am not retiring as a Chinese Medicine specialist, I just want to spend more time with my little one πŸ˜‡ and enjoy every moment raising Bayan and see her growing up. And I feel like I'm just starting on my journey to build my legacy that will make Bayan and my whole family proud. Especially my father who is much concerned when we talk about Houly Media.

Back in the 90s my dad used to have a print house, where I started my entrepreneurial journey, we did everything that a modern media agency does today, in addition to actually print out the work, we did it the traditional way and it was fun.
Even that I couldn't ask for payments as my father would say: "you're working to support your family". Which I hated back then, but today I am glad and I wish I listened with more care and attention to his teaching and guidance on the importance of putting, family, reputation skills and values we share and give before the money we try to earn!

And it's funny to say "I also wish he listened to me when I was insisting to follow, use and invest in modern ways to save the business or change the whole thing", I was 11 or 12, even today it's a bit weird when an advice comes from the youngest, let alone business advice πŸ˜†

Now the reasons behind creating Houly Media is first my passion and love business and entrepreneurship, my passion to serve others, and the disharmony I see in the market, the use of old ways that cost a lot and make a little if any money, the 86% or more of business that fail in their first 5 years.

I'm so blessed that my father is still alive to see this, and I'm full of hope that he will witness our success.
From rubber wood stamp creation at 8-12 years old to guiding our clients in the Web3 transition at 32, I am totally grateful for life.
