A little walk through Bitola’s “Shirok Sokak!” 😍 If I wanted to translate this.. it would basically mean “wide street?” 😅😂 But, if I had to describe it, it is the beautiful main shopping and eatery street of Bitola!

Did you know that Bitola was known as the “City of Consuls” because of its diplomatic role during the Ottoman Empire? 🫶🏼

If you get a chance to stop here, take in the architecture, stop for food or coffee, and appreciate the little details that make this place the best city to get lost in.

Bitola, you’re beautiful and my most favorite city! 💕

A little piece of Macedonia, all in one place 🇲🇰🍒

Makedonsko Selo brings together the architecture, traditions, and flavors of different parts of Macedonia… so walking through it feels like getting a little glimpse into the country’s history and culture. Bonus, there is a really really old church at the entrance, and that is definitely a must see!

The food was SO good, the details throughout the space were beautiful, and Esnaf ® was there actively creating and keeping the experience alive with some really cool things happening.

Definitely one of those places where you come for the experience… but don’t want to leave.

If you’re visiting Skopje, add this to your list 🇲🇰

A little wine tasting Chateau_Sopot_Winery 🤏🏽🤏🏽🤏🏽

Okay. Other than the wind blowing like crazy, this place was soooo delicious and was such an awesome experience!!! 😍

The wine I had was refreshing and paired really well with the accoutrements we ordered!!

I absolutely would recommend heading here for some wine tasting and some amazing views. I do believe their weekends are booked with weddings, so calling ahead would be best to make sure you can go for some tasting and the tour!

Hidden gems will always beat crowded tourist spots. 🌿🇲🇰

Berovo Lake, tucked away in eastern Macedonia, is one of those places that reminds you to slow down. Crystal-clear water, pine-covered hills, fresh mountain air, and the kind of silence you rarely find anymore.

It’s perfect for a peaceful walk, kayaking, fishing, or simply sitting by the water and taking it all in. If you’re looking for a destination that feels authentic instead of overrun, this belongs on your travel list.

Berovo (Берово) is a beautiful alpine escape that I think anyone from any country should experience! Fresh mountain air, scenic views, and pure nature is exactly what I love!!! I will have more to post about the lake, but this breathtaking resort needed its own separate spotlight post!

When you get to this region, try to book a room at Aurora Resort & Spa you won’t regret it!!!

But don’t worry- if you cannot get a room, you can still walk around the resort and grab some coffee, drinks, or food at their restaurant.
