It’s that time of year again 🎅🏻 🎅🏻 🎅🏻

It’s been a super duper year for the family and I 🌟 We’ve had a big move back to Australia from Macau, and have been busy working and settling ourselves and our kids into our new lives and school.

After all that, we are very much looking forward to enjoying a good rest from the end of this week!

Thanks so much for your support. Whether you’re a friend, client, fellow business owner, or follower, it’s been great hanging out here with you all.

I look forward to building many more websites next year and I also have a few new plans for the biz, so stay tuned!

For now I shall be doing some wrapping and enjoying a glass of cab sav whilst watching Deck The Halls. Life is good.

The sun is out and it’s time to be done with the gloom of winter and stride into spring with some get up and go!

I live for a good clean out and use spring as a good excuse to tick some niggling items off my to do list. Here’s what I got done:

✅ Went through my mailing list and culled some unnecessary contacts;
✅ Started the process of swapping my managed websites over to the new Google Analytics 4;
✅ Optimised a couple of sites for speed and performance and converted images to webp format;
✅ Added some automations to my business to speed up workflow;
✅ Made a couple of changes to my own website to give it a more profesh look;
✅ Made new and improved profit and loss and income and expenses spreadsheets;
✅ Went through my receipts for the financial year and prepared everything to lodge my tax return.

What’s on your list?? This is your personal boot up the bum to get it all done! Once you get going you’ll be surprised how little time it takes you to knock your jobs over. So quit procrastinating and get.it.done 👏🏻👏🏻

Big things are happening soon in the studio!

After 15 years of living in Asia, my family are moving home to Australia 🇦🇺

- Am I crapping my dacks? Yep.
- Am I freaking out at leaving my little comfort bubble of Macau? Yep.
- Is my brain exploding with the logistics of moving my husband & 3 kids, finding a house, new school, and shipping our stuff? Yep.
- Am I worried I won’t know how to live as an Australian any more? Yep.

Thankfully, there is much excitement mixed in with my worries.
- Reconnecting with our extended family
- Enjoying a double skinny flat white
- Going to the footy (even if the Bombers are doing rubbish)
- Welcoming a dog into our family (kids are peaking on this one)
- Breathing in the fresh air, smelling the gum trees, and being woken up to the sound of kookaburras.

So excuse me if I am off the radar in the next couple of months whilst I navigate this minefield! I will still be available via DM, email etc. but may not be booking any new clients until August.

I am very much looking forward to building some new relationships, and servicing some exciting new clients in Bendigo, Melbourne, and beyond.

WE are doing great.

Like many others, I slip into the dreaded ‘imposter syndrome’ and lose my mojo.

Don’t know enough, not as good as xx, why would anyone want to hire me etc etc.

It’s time to appreciate how far we’ve come, what we DO know, what we continue to learn, and why others DO value us and our work.

For me, it’s my efficiency, friendly nature, problem solving power, and work ethic (thanks Mum & Dad for that one).
