Ali Subratty represents a new generation of optometrists who combine expertise, ambition and technology to deliver the most accurate results possible. His investment in state-of-the-art equipment became the starting point for a rebrand.

Inspired by the French expression “avoir un compas dans l’œil”, which translates roughly to having the precision of a compass in one’s eyes, the new logo unites three ideas in one: the compass for accuracy, the eye for expertise, and the A for Ali.

The Ali Subratty Optometrist visual identity reflects a commitment to precision and progress in the field of eye care.

The brief: name and design a brand identity that would highlight the main feature of the brand, which is its unique business model.

Positioning the company as a satellite resource to the world of Interior Design, the concept drew inspiration from the Strawberry Moon; the full moon that appears in June with a soft pink tone. The Et Mé Créa visual identity was designed to capture the brand’s essence: handmade, heartfelt, and plant-based. From custom lettering to symbolic details, like the leaf-shaped accent on “mé” and the hand-drawn tools of the trade, every element tells a story. The result? A logo that radiates creativity, warmth, and intention, just like the brand itself.

Inspired by Bauhaus principles and built on geometric precision, the new logo reflects the architectural mindset of G+F Associates founders; engineered, deliberate, and modular.

Constructed using squares, 45-degree angles, and the rule of thirds, the identity system is both bold and adaptable. The font used as base is AF Kub, by Mauritian Type Designer , Jean Lou Désiré. We also created a custom scatter brush from the plus symbol, generating dynamic patterns that extend the brand across touchpoints.

Inspired by the Bauhaus palette of red, blue, yellow, and black, the identity combines local typographic heritage with a timeless and modernist approach.
