I never had a sister.
So I gave my daughters each other. ๐
Before she could even fully hold her own head up, her big sister already knew exactly how to hold her. Like it was the most natural thing in the world. Like she had been waiting for her her whole little life.
Nobody taught her that. Love just knows. ๐ค
Dusty rose. Gold. Roses at their feet and stars behind them. Because that is exactly what they are to each other and to me.
I created this portrait because I believe that the bond between sisters deserves to be captured before they are old enough to understand how rare and beautiful it truly is.
One day they will look at this image as grown women and they will know. That they were always each other's. ๐๐ธ
