THE FIRST WEEK SALES DILEMMA
Sometimes when we hear of first week sales we may jump to conclusions on how we feel the album has performed,
We can say it is good to have a lot of sales in the first week because it may project that the album may go on to sell well through time sort of like hitting the ground running,where sometimes an album can even manage to pay back morethan half invested in its first week,meaning it may make profit in a short period of time.

But lets not think that this is always the case,that the first week sales can determine the future of an album,some albums may sell well the first week and then drastically drop in sales,where some may have a poor first week and go on to gain more sales in the long run
For example...

LIL KIM HARDCORE VS FOXY BROWN ILL NANA
Foxy Brown's first Album debuted at number 7 selling 128k units
And Lil Kims Hardcore Debuted at 11 selling 78k units,
These weren't two random Albums too they were deliberately pitted against eachother....
we would all think this was a clear win for Foxy right?
Only to find out Hardcore went on to mature well and is still enjoying chart and streaming success whereas Ill Nana went on to dissappear from the face of the planet unfortunately along with Foxy's career which is saying something because she was a phenomenal rapper.

I was interested in this as i recently saw The Game only managed to sell 25k in his first week only time will tell how the Album will mature against Megan Thee Stallions Traumazine which did better sales and seemed to be the only other major rap release on that day but this is a step up from the mega embarrassing 5k units sold from The Game previous project Born To Rap.

THE STORY OF THE FLOW OF THE ELECTRONICA

The sky was purple and the moon was glowing the colour emerald,
I sat around a camp fire but it was huge and it burned the colour dark blue,as it burned it made a beautiful synthetic sound that felt like the spirit of heaven was pouring out of it, i sat there next to a wise mythical creature,it was the colour of a shadow but its mouth was filled with gold and when it spoke it was like hearing a powerful thunder and occasionally it spat lighting as it spoke in tongues...

I was amazed at how it explained stories of the past and present using one sentence to explain three different things at once,this put me in a trance as i couldn't tell where we were in time it felt like we were floating in space with time warps of history flying by us,these ilusions made the sound of a piano that was constantly in motion carrying us to galaxies i never knew existed,there was blue smoke in the air which made a sound of a choir of a thousand voices that sung in unison making me feel euphoric an faithful about life and for once i felt like it all had a purpose.

With every word it spoke i saw visions and felt everything that was explained,time seemed to slow down...one minute we were in the marcy projects in the 90's and i saw a young Jayz's in a trench coat driving a GS Lexus the next moment i was surrounded by red indians the indigenous tribe that were the original founders of the americas.

I snapped out the illusion it was night time and i had been actually just playing The god Emcee Jay Electronica's Exhibt A

WE SHOULD BE HAPPY THE GAME DISSED EMINEM

Once upon a time the year was 2013 and a wide eyed Big Sean decided to cook up a Rap Song,little did he know that this song would go on to open portals in Hiphop from the Underground to Mainstream because of a Good Kid from Compton named Kendrick Lamar.

Much like the era we live in now Hip-Hop was on the decline and wasn't really about Lyricism or Bars neither Flows.
Big Sean reached for a spice from the god Emcee Jay Electronica to add a twist to the potion adding a Mythical type of essence with his verse and dropped it in the raging pot of a song called Control,and was chosen to close out the portal,with the honorable last verse.

Little did we know a Young Kendrick Lamar would come prance and dance over the pot chanting flows spitting lyrical incantations that the rap game never heard before.
NAME DROPPING on a level we have never seen before as he called out the Whole Entire Industry to come watch his Wizadry.

The verse would go on to flip and tumble the Industry upside down overnight as the Underground began to riot and Control Remixes were made by Legendary rappers such as Joel Ortiz,Joe Budden,Papoose and Cassidy other names such as JR The Writer and Mysonne.

Never in the Rap Game have we seen Mainstream Rap literally snap in half as Mainstream Rappers shaked as they tried to pick up pens,and ward off the noise from the underground,Rap had become competitive again and it was exciting for anyone who witnessed this Era,people lost they're rap careers over night contracts were terminated 🤣🤣 because 16bars from Kung fu Kenny

This is why WE SHOULD BE HAPPY THE GAME DISSED EMINEM
In all actuality he is trying to revive a dieing sport,people say he only did it for Album sales but truth is The Game has a networth of 10 Million and doesn't look like hes starving in my opinion.
Today i even heard Joe Budden say he will no longer talk about Rap because its literally ceasing to exist and that made this a very sad day for me 😔

ALBUM REVIEW:THE GAME DRILLMATIC:HEART VS MIND

A while ago The Game made a bold statement claiming that he can rap better than Eminem,and that he had a diss track prepared for him.
This all seemed to be a publicity stunt to gain attention to his next Studio Album release which became Drillmatic,it seemed to work as the day it was released Eminem stans flooded the news feeds to clown The Game for clout chasing.
We've heard alot from Eminem stans but are yet to hear from Mr Slim Shady himself.

HEART
Okay so with all fun and games aside,what we have here is an exhibition match or cypher in which The game collaborates with numerous artists on they're type of beats to prove his ability.

We also have sections were The Game gives us solo tracks where he finesses his Lyrical Ability while giving us Introspection on his past with G.unit,and Current Affairs of Women,Gang Violence and Rapper Deaths in the City of L.A and its immaculate.

So in short,we are playing Mortal Combat as The Game,climbing up the tower hopefully to find that the last boss will be Eminem.
People seem to be only concerned on weather or not he will get to battle it out with Eminem but miss the Golden Moments of how The Game's Vocals fuse over any type of production with Crisp Deliveries,Lyrical,Content Flows and Cadence.

SUMMARY
It all seems like this is a big Rap Experiment that has gone very well for now...
So For now let us enjoy this Immaculate peice of Art,while we wait for possible Easter Eggs which will be Eminems next move and in turn The Games next move.

Rating (8.8/10) Immaculate all its really missing is a Drake feature especially if you have the version with Nipsey on it.

Album:Drillmatic:Heart vs Mind
Song:Nikki Beach
Artists:Tory Lanez French Montana The Game (Dj Khaled)
Analysis:The song sounds like something that can really have potential to be played on a good night along a tropical beach but my worry is it probably will not reach its full potential because i haven't seen it being marketed as a lead single,and not im not sure weather or not a video will be made for it.
If i was one of the producers i would add a pop songwriter because some of the lyrcs are a bit too explicit for a worldwide chart topper,with all said this is one of them ones a good song with a good vibe.
