Para la identidad visual evitamos los clichés folclóricos. Creamos un lenguaje limpio donde la Chicotona —la serpiente que se muerde la cola— funciona como el símbolo central. Un ciclo eterno que representa el reinicio, la evolución de la marca y la unión entre el pasado y la cultura contemporánea.

En Guerrero, la “Chicotona” es una serpiente que cuida los campos de maguey. De ese mito local nació el legado que Don Lauro comenzó hace 62 años. Hoy, su nieto continúa la tradición familiar, trasladando ese conocimiento ancestral a las tierras de Puebla para dar vida a dos expresiones: Espadín y Papalometl.

Each product line—joints, oils, merch design, and social media—was created as an extension of the same visual universe: dynamic colors, expressive illustrations, and compositions that evoke the brand’s celestial narrative.

The idea was for every piece, from packaging to digital content, to feel like a fragment of ATOM’s cosmos, maintaining consistency while allowing each product and format to have its own voice.

The result is a solid, colorful identity ready to live both physically and digitally, traveling from planet to planet without losing its essence.

We developed a visual language inspired by its cosmic universe: a vibrant palette, patterns, and an illustration style that reinforces the brand’s light, futuristic, and fantastical personality.

Our goal was to build a flexible and coherent system where colors, shapes, and strokes could interact with one another to convey ATOM’s galactic essence.

Each illustration, symbol, and composition contributes to expanding the character’s story and his interplanetary journey, creating an identity that feels alive and constantly in motion. ✦

ATOM is a cannabis project in Mexico that began with the creation of the naming. We were looking for a short, strong, and personality-driven name. That’s how ATOM was born. During the process, we discovered a detail that ultimately gave the project its full meaning: when flipped, it reads MOTA, the colloquial word for cannabis in Mexico.

That discovery set the creative direction. Inspired by the narrative sensitivity of The Little Prince, we brought to life Atom, a space traveler, and his companion plant, Flower. Together, they are the protagonists of the brand’s universe and embody the idea of “low-gravity trips from home,” a concept that connects with the experience of its products.

Each line of their herbal ci**rs is designed for a different state of mind —from Early Bird for an energy boost to Sleepy Head for a calm night’s rest.
