in the early stage of production, we had in mind this documentary is made to resonate with Ipohites.
our director brought the film to primary schools in respective mentioned towns, to my pleasant surprise, Gen Alphas and teachers really had their eyes glued to the length of the film.
in lieu with Malaysia Day, we’ve brought the film to bigger screens at Taiping Raintown Film Festival, there after it was advanced to Penang COEX. we truly truly appreciate the invitations, as receiving inputs and questions from a greater public really helped us gain deeper insights.
watching the 30mins docu felt like a breeze, hence as the producer, i think it is still a Work in Progrss, and we really hope it can be developed into a full feature length film, all comments are welcomed (if you’re too shy to comment to the director haha), and most importantly, we are still hoping to connect to more people for archives of old photos, relatable medias and stories.
it truly humbles us to be screening the film 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 in my homegrown PJ Section 17 Wild Sheep Home & 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 night at Papan Haus 八板屋. next week on the 23rd noon, we will be bringing the film to Bursa Malaysia Knowledge Centre. in which all are free screenings with QA, do come!
KL peeps, if you wish to grab a coffee, Ansell Tan and i are unoccupied 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 anytime! ☕️
big shout out to Think City, without their support we wouldn’t have kicked off the film so well!
