Coffee is the new common.
K’ommons is a brand that represents connection, simplicity, and shared experiences. The name, inspired by the word “common”, symbolises a moment of pause — a break in the flow, similarly to stopping by for a cup of coffee. The brand focuses on being approachable, familiar, and relatable, drawing inspiration from everyday symbols (a comma) that connect people.
The logo incorporates a visual play on the comma symbol, one of the most common and recognised marks in daily life. The logo is designed with an apostrophe separating the letter “K”, creating a pause that invites people to stop and engage with the brand. This subtle break signifies a moment of attention, reflecting the brand’s voice of being both approachable and reflective. The combination of the simple comma/apostrophe marks creates a balance of familiarity and uniqueness, making it memorable and inviting.
The K’ommons font, created by — is key to the brand’s identity. It’s clean, geometric design reflects the brand’s focus on simplicity and the essence of “common”. It connects people through familiar shapes and creates a visual and emotional pause that encourages engagement, offering something “common” but with individuality.
