Scrolling through LinkedIn today, I couldn’t help but notice a few familiar names celebrating “new beginnings” at different companies. Funny thing is—just a few months ago, these same individuals were proudly representing another firm in a business discussion with us. That deal? It fell apart. Why? Because instead of professionalism, we got arrogance disguised as “industry expertise” and unnecessary negative remarks about others.
Here’s the truth: holding the power of recommendation in a transaction doesn’t give anyone the license to belittle or bad-mouth. Respect is earned, not imposed. And unsurprisingly, when toxicity becomes the default, the outcome is almost always the same—job hopping every six months, usually after a failed performance review.
In over a decade in fintech marketing, I’ve met many like this. Big talk, little substance. The kind who believe switching companies will hide the fact that the real issue is their inability to deliver. But the damage isn’t just personal—it drags down the reputation of every company they touch.
At SmartAds Innovation , we’ve stayed the course. We’ve built resilience, credibility, and partnerships that last. People come and go in brokerage firms and other fintech company ; our commitment to the industry remains.
And a word of caution to brokerage firms, payment gateways, and service providers: beware of the “professional parasites.” Their résumés may look impressive, but the pattern speaks louder—they carry the same problems everywhere they go.
