Sarawak Government Assistance Programs‼️ 8 Benefits for K-Card Holders

1.Maternal Assistance (BIB) — RM450
How to apply: Visit the Social Welfare Department (JKM) or the official BIB website.
Required documents: K-Card, pregnancy proof.

2.Sarawak Children Fund (EFS) — RM1,000
How to apply: Apply directly when registering your baby’s birth certificate at the National Registration Department (JPN).
Required documents: Birth certificate, parents’ K-Cards.

3.Free Book Voucher Assistance — RM500
How to apply: Apply through your university/educational institution or Yayasan Sarawak.
Eligibility: Student must hold a K-Card.

4.Free Laptop Assistance — RM3,000
How to apply: Apply through your university or Yayasan Sarawak.
Eligibility: Student or parent must hold a K-Card.

5.Special Allowance for University Students — RM1,200/year
How to apply: Apply at the university’s Student Affairs Department (HEP).
Required documents: Student ID, K-Card.

6.i-GPS Graduate Return Program — RM400/each trip
How to apply: Apply on the official i-GPS website.
Eligibility: Up to 2 trips per year; must submit flight/train tickets.

7.Higher Education Admission Assistance (IPT)
- Sarawak institutions: RM1,000
- Outside Sarawak: RM1,500
- How to apply: Apply at Yayasan Sarawak website or branch.
- Required documents: Admission letter, K-Card.

8.Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) — RM1,800 Death Assistance
How to apply: Apply at the Social Welfare Department or Sarawak Digital Government.
Eligibility: Aged 60+, must hold a K-Card.

Sarawak’s tourism is on fire this year — from January to October, our tourism receipts have already crossed RM10 billion! 💥

The minister shared that we’re moving steadily toward our 5 million visitors target for 2025, and October alone welcomed 414,225 tourists!

And here’s the best part — this money isn’t just going into the state revenue. It flows straight into local hotels, small businesses, eateries, artisans, tour guides… meaning more income for our Sarawakians. We grow together! ✨

The WAK Festival also played a big part, bringing in even more visitors and boosting the vibe all around Kuching.
