High in the highlands, the Kelabit way of life carries stories of language, survival, and tradition. This documentary reveals a culture shaped by their history, memory, and identity.

Despite their many successes, the Kelabit community still faces numerous challenges, including the potential extinction of their language, as fewer young people are able to speak it. They also face a decline in knowledge of traditional survival skills and cultural practices.

There is hope in encouraging the younger generation to reconnect with their identity, learn the language, and actively practice their traditions so the Kelabit heritage continues to stay alive. We hope through this video, this is where it begins.
