Backstage at New York Fashion Week, a model waits for the runway cue. The ultimate spectacle for fashion aristocracy, the event is held twice a year in New York, London, Paris, and Milan. The glamorous shows are perfectly packaged for photographers and front-row attendees, but the reality backstage is a bit different. Models often have grueling hours and walk several runways a day. I photographed these images from behind the scenes and from the front row in the New York and Paris fashion weeks.
