Revenue up. Energy down.

On paper, things are improving.

More clients. Better numbers. Higher revenue. If someone asked, you would say things are going well.

But internally, it feels different.

You wake up tired. Not physically, but mentally. The kind of tired that sleep does not fix.

Work still gets done. Meetings still happen. Deliverables still go out.

But the excitement is not quite there anymore.

You start noticing it in small ways. Tasks you used to enjoy now feel like obligations. Conversations feel shorter. Your patience runs thin.

Nothing is technically wrong.

But something feels off.

This is the part many founders do not talk about. When growth comes with a cost that is not visible on a spreadsheet.

Because revenue can go up while your energy slowly drains.

And if you ignore it long enough, burnout does not come loudly. It creeps in.

So maybe success is not just about how much you are making.

You do not need more strategies.

Everywhere you look, there is a new strategy.

New funnel. New hack. A new system that promises better results.

You save the post. Watch the video. Maybe even buy the course.

For a while, it feels productive. Like you are moving forward.
But when you step back, you realise something.

You are not lacking strategies.

You are lacking clarity.

Having more information does not always mean better ex*****on. Sometimes it just creates more noise.

You start second-guessing what you are already doing. You start jumping from one idea to another. Never staying long enough to see something actually work.

It feels like progress. But it is just movement.

Real growth usually comes from doing a few things well. Repeating them. Refining them.

Not constantly chasing the next best thing.

That is why conversations matter. Not just content consumption.

Being in a room where people share what actually worked for them. The messy version. The realistic version.

Because sometimes, all you need is to hear, “just do this first”.
And stick to it.

Some days, you feel like a fraud.

You close the deal. Client says yes. Money comes in. Everything looks legit.

Then suddenly, the thought hits. Do I actually know what I am doing?

You laugh it off, but it comes back. When you are about to present. When someone asks you a question you did not expect. When you compare yourself to someone more experienced.

Imposter syndrome is quite sneaky. It does not show up when you are failing. It shows up when things are working, because now there is something to lose.

A reputation to maintain. An expectation to meet.

So you overthink. You prepare more than necessary. You second-guess decisions you normally would make confidently.

Here is the ironic part. Most people around you assume you are confident, because that is what you show. They do not see the internal dialogue.

The doubt. The questioning.

And truth is, almost every founder goes through this. Just that no one talks about it openly, because everyone is trying to look like they have it together.

So maybe the question is not whether you feel like a fraud, but whether you are willing to keep going despite feeling that way.

You outgrew your old circle of friends.

Last time, conversations were easy. Same topics. Same jokes. Same energy.

Now, you sit at the table and realise you are somewhere else mentally.

They talk about office politics. You are thinking about hiring your first staff. They talk about annual leave. You are calculating whether you can afford to take one.

It is not that you think you are better. You are just different now. And that difference is uncomfortable, because you miss how simple things used to be.

But at the same time, you cannot unsee what you have seen. You cannot go back to thinking small.

So you end up in between. Not fully fitting in your old circle. Not fully settled into a new one yet. That space can feel quite lonely.

This is where many founders get stuck.

Building a business also means rebuilding your environment. Finding people who challenge you. People who understand your conversations. People who make you feel less weird for thinking the way you do.

Because growth changes more than your business. It changes your circles.

Everyone celebrates your wins.

It sounds good on the surface.

People see the highlights. The wins. The progress. The version of things that is easy to celebrate.

They do not always see what it took to get there.

The long nights. The second-guessing. The moments where you were not sure if you were making the right call.

Being a founder has a way of stretching you.

Not just in skill, but in patience, in resilience, and in how much you are willing to carry without showing it.

Some days feel clear. You know what to do. You execute. Things move. Other days feel heavy. Everything slows down. Even simple decisions feel harder than they should.

And yet, you keep going.

Stopping is not really an option, which is something many people do not understand.

This journey is not always about big breakthroughs.

It is often about showing up consistently, even when you do not feel like it.

Even when no one is watching.
