Sailing Catamaran Harmonie is a 10 m (33 ft) sailing catamaran which was custom built in Koh Samui, Thailand based on a design by renowned Austrian catamaran designer Berndt Kohler. The twin asymmetrical hulls of the catamaran offer better stability on a rolling sea and more comfort for passengers in adverse conditions. Although Harmonie is a no frills catamaran, she is still well equipped for saf
e and pleasurable sailing. She has two outboard engines for maneuvering in and out of port and also a contingency should the catamaran be becalmed. A 12VDC electrical system with solar panel provides power to all electronic equipment. The electrical system is further backed up by a portable two stroke genset which provides 240VAC and also 12VDC power. Harmonie’s home port will be Port Klang but she will ply the waters of the Straits of Malacca between Port Dickson, Port Klang, Lumut, Penang and Langkawi. She will be available for charters as a bareboat charter or crewed charter and will comfortably accommodate six to eight passengers on a variety of sailing packages. They range from full day or half day sails and also the ever popular sunset cruises.
