Read this to comprehend, not to comment…
Dear Woman, if it’s not kind - keep it.
Let’s talk.
We need to stop making other women uncomfortable with our so-called “compliments” that come wrapped in shade.
The “oh wow, you’ve changed…”
The “you look skinnier now, what happened?”
The “you’re different hey…”
The tone. The smirk. The energy.
Let me be clear: Yes, I’ve changed, because I’ve grown.
I choose GROWTH.
I choose to develop myself, my mindset, and my skills.
I choose to learn more about myself, about life, about the world around me. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I prioritize my health.
Even on those icy, freezing mornings when my body screams “stay in bed” I get up and go to the gym.
I make healthier choices.
I choose my circle wisely.
And I do all of this for no one else but myself.
So before you make that comment, pause and ask yourself:
Is this love? Or is this low-key envy in disguise?
If it’s not kind, empowering, or genuine, maybe just keep it.
Be inspired rather than intimidated. Be curious rather than critical.
Women rise higher when we support each other, not when we shade each other.
I’m not here for performance. I’m here for peace, purpose, and progression.
And if that makes you uncomfortable… that’s yours to sit with.
