Vinho de Talha translates literally as "clay pot wine" or "amphora wine" and refers to an ancient, artisanal winemaking tradition from Portugal's Alentejo region.

In this traditional method, grapes are fermented inside large, unlined clay vessels known as talhas. Using naturally occurring wild yeasts and minimal human intervention, the wine is allowed to develop in a way that honours the character of the grapes and the centuries-old traditions passed down through generations.
