Today marked a memorable and impactful occasion as the SUG President of Peace Polytechnic generously donated exercise books to all the children of Elect Family Assembly. This kind gesture reflects a strong commitment to supporting education and encouraging young learners within the community.

The Rector, The Dean Student Affair, Director of every sector, distinguished leaders, respected lecturers, fellow comrades, and beloved students,
Combatant greetings to you all.

Today is not just my day, it is our day a day of history, unity, and a renewed mandate of service. I stand before you deeply humbled and grateful for the trust you have bestowed upon me COMR Favour Okoko as your SUG PRESIDENT.

First and foremost, I thank Almighty God for making this day possible. I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to my parents, lecturers, mentors, leaders, my campaign team, and every student who believed in me. Without your support, I would not be here.

This inauguration is not a celebration of one person’s victory, but the collective will of Nigerian students on this campus. It is a reminder that leadership is not about titles, but about service, sacrifice, and impact.

To my executives, I want to remind you that this is a journey filled with a lot of sacrifice, pain, and endurance, a journey to test our leadership ability, faith, and integrity. It’s always easy to break a single broom than a bunch of broom.
Unity and togetherness will always win.

I assure you today that my administration "with the support of my executives" will be guided by transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness. We will work tirelessly to defend the rights of students, promote academic excellence, and ensure that your welfare remains our top priority.

As I take this oath today, I make a solemn promise, I will not lead from above, but from among you. I will listen, I will serve, and I will do my best to leave behind a legacy that the Nigerian Students will be proud of.

Under the visionary leadership and unwavering sponsorship of the Rector, Professor Udosen P.E, and the institution’s management, our administration was privileged to record remarkable achievement in students’ representation, welfare, infrastructure support, environmental initiatives, and administrative engagement.

This scorecard is not merely a celebration of achievements, but a documented reference point for continuity, accountability, and progressive unionism. It reflects what collaborative leadership between the Students’ Union Government and the institution’s administration can achieve when driven by purpose in working with the management and mutual understanding.

As we gradually conclude this chapter of service, we present this document for history, transparency, and for the next administration to build beyond the foundation already laid.

Leadership is not only about occupying an office; it is about creating structures that outlive your tenure.

If you are a student or graduate of Peace Polytechnic, then you will truly understand what this woman means to this institution. Mrs Idorenyin Idy Joseph, sacrifices, kindness, and dedication speak for themselves within the walls of this school.

It is almost impossible to pass through Peace Polytechnic without feeling the impact of her good works, support, and commitment towards the growth of students and the institution at large. For years, she has remained a strong pillar, silently making sacrifices, supporting visions, encouraging students, and helping to build a foundation that many today are benefiting from.

Yesterday, I had the honour of presenting an Award of Honour to this exceptional woman in recognition of her selfless service, unwavering commitment, and priceless contributions to Peace Polytechnic.

This honour is simply a reminder that your labour is not in vain, your sacrifices are not forgotten, and your impact can never be erased. We have seen your works, we have felt your presence, and today, we celebrate you wholeheartedly.

Thank you for all you represent in this institution. Your legacy will continue to speak for generations to come.

Thank you for your constant support, guidance, and the way you always stand for the students. Your efforts may not be seen by everyone every day, but many of us have benefited from your kindness, leadership, and encouragement in one way or another.

Today, we pray that God blesses you with good health, more wisdom, peace, and many more successful years ahead.
