First, I’d like to say that this message isn’t to encourage mediocrity or laxity in our work. I believe in self-improvement, setting goals, and working as much as possible to achieve those goals and ultimately excellence in all our hands finds to do.
That being said, the issue of comparison must be brought to check. As stated, it doesn’t show wisdom. It saps you of your energy and the ability to improve yourself in line with God’s standard.
Consider this: 2 + 2 = 4, 2 * 2 = 4, 5 - 1 = 4.
Do you see where this is going?
To get 4 as an answer, there are various options.
Why compare your route with another?

With God on your side, you are unstoppable.
Be thankful. Don’t allow the pressures of thinking ‘What did I achieve this year compared to others’ to rob you of your Joy.

Sometimes we take the ‘simplest’ things for granted even if it is the most crucial. You are alive this morning reading this because God deemed it fit to give you the gift of life. It’s the present and there a big things for you today.
Rejoice, be glad and be intentional about your life every waking day. That’s the right attitude to life.

“If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.”

One thing that amazes me is God’s love for us. He loved us even while we were yet sinners so much so that he came to die for us (Rom 5:8). His love is the basis of our salvation and our walk as Christians, it’s so profound (John 15:13).
Today’s focal scripture gives a hint on how we can love God in our little way -Obedience to his commandments.
Complete Obedience to God is a huge asset as a believer and the great thing is that God is willing to help you obey him. The Bible also says in Matt 11:30 that His Burden is light hence It is not by your might or strength.

So the big question is Do you love God?
If you do then, Let it show ❤️

Electrical appliances are only useful when electricity runs through them.
Branches only stay green when still attached to the tree.

During creation after man was made, he was still life less. it was only when God had breath in man that he was ever alive. God is our source and without him the bible says we can do NOTHING.
Don’t neglect your source, do right by God. He is ever willing to help you do right.

Today's message is very simple yet so powerful. Christ has paid it all for you to be free from the shackles of sin, fear, curses, evil patterns, and worse of all death, eternal death. But here is the good news, His word says "Even the lawful captive shall HE set free". Freedom contrary to popular opinion, has been made available through the redemptive work of Christ. All you've got to do is to believe and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, give Him rule over your life, and live holy.
You are free once you are in Christ!
Don't settle for less.

A glance at the keyboard (whether or not you play the instrument), you would immediately observe that there are white and black keys. I can tell you categorically that an interplay between these two sets of keys produces sweet melodies. This life that we live sometimes presents challenging times, and hurdles to cross - I can liken this to the black keys. Also sometimes it is smooth sailing- the white keys.
God has assured us believers through his word that even in those turbulent times, He will strengthen you and uphold you.
See things differently and walk each phase confidently knowing that God got you.
"All things work together for Good to those that love God".
