THE GREATEST CHALLENGE FACING GOVERNOR FRANCIS OGBONNA NWIFURU'S SECOND TERM BID (Episode 1)
Many people believe Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru's biggest obstacle in 2027 is the PDP.
But what if they're wrong?
What if the greatest threat is not outside the APC... but from within?
A widening political rift, growing internal disagreements, and a battle for control may shape the future of Ebonyi politics more than many realize.
In Episode 1, we examine why many political observers see the internal APC crisis as the defining challenge of the governor's re-election bid.
Don't miss it.

A divided people cannot build a roof, and hope without a plan is a beautiful illusion that leaves us standing in the rain. Let us stop chasing the political mirage. 2031 requires a strategy, not a dream.

When leadership creates impact, the people speak! 🙌

The streets of Ebonyi came alive as transport operators from the 13 LGAs united in a massive show of appreciation and endorsement for His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru — celebrating his remarkable transformation and innovation in the transport sector.

From the revolutionary Ebocab online ride-hailing system, to the strengthening of Ebotrans, improved road networks, and policies empowering transport workers — the story of progress is being written.

This landmark event was proudly organised by the Honourable Commissioner for Transport and Special Duties, Hon. Prince Collins Emeka Igboke, whose commitment continues to drive the vision of a modern, efficient and people-focused transport system in Ebonyi State.

Ebonyi Gist Lovers, grab your chilled palm w**e and sit close, because today, we aren’t just giving you gist—we are giving you HOPE. For weeks, the digital streets have been on fire. We’ve seen the back-and-forth, the heated debates, and the "data warriors" sharpening their keyboards over the political soul of Ebonyi Central. But today, the narrative has changed. The storm has met a mountain, and the mountain has said: "Peace, be still.”

The Giants Sheathe Their Swords

In a move that has sent shockwaves of relief across the Salt of the Nation, two sons of the soil—Senator Kenneth Eze and Christian Asaga Nwali—have proven that brotherhood is a bond that no political friction can melt.

These are men carved from different clans but molded from the same Ebonyi clay. They have looked past the noise, reached across the divide, and shaken hands. Whatever cracks were beginning to show in the walls of our unity have been sealed—not with quick-fix sand, but with the cement of understanding.

The "Architect" at Work: Umahi’s Masterstroke

Let’s be real: this peace didn’t just happen by luck. It wasn't "accidental rain." This bridge was engineered by the man who knows how to build things to last—the former Governor and current Minister of Works, Engr. David Nweze Umahi.

Senator Umahi has reminded us all why he is called a leader. He stepped in, not just to settle a quarrel, but to protect the family from bleeding. And in doing so, he dropped a truth bomb that has set the record straight:

"The Ebonyi Central Senatorial Seat had an agreement that after the present four years term position, it will go to Ikwo."

Boom! There it is. Clarity. Equity. Honor. By affirming this, Umahi has shown that power in Ebonyi has a map, and leadership has a ladder. When there is a plan, there is no need for panic.

The Final Say: A Divine Order

We must respect the hierarchy that keeps us stable. At the top of the ladder is God, and right next is the man

A REQUIEM of LIGHT: IN MEMORY OF ANULIKA MURREN DADO NWEZE

I am writing this because I am very sorry to hear that Mrs. Anulika Murren Dado Nweze has passed away. To High Chief John Dado Nweze and the whole family, please know that we are thinking of you and praying for you during this sad time.

Anulika was a wonderful person. The Bible talks about "virtuous" women who are more precious than expensive jewels, and that is exactly who she was.

She was a kind and loving wife.

She was a gentle and praying mother.

She was a helpful friend to everyone in her neighborhood.

Everyone who knew her will always remember her warm smile and her big heart.

Where she is now

Even though it is very sad that she is gone, we believe she is in a beautiful place now. Think of it like this: she has finished her long day of work and is now resting in the arms of God. She isn't hurting or tired anymore. She is waiting in heaven, wearing a robe of light, in a place filled with peace.

A message for the family

When you feel like crying, remember that God is right there to give you a hug. On April 28th and 29th, when the family gathers to say goodbye, I hope you feel God’s peace like a warm blanket around you.

It is okay to be sad right now—even the strongest people cry. But remember, the Bible says that even though we cry at night, happiness comes again in the morning. Anulika was a gift from God, and even though He called her back home, we are so lucky that we got to know her.

Our Prayer

May Anulika rest in perfect peace. May God’s bright light shine on her forever. And for you, High Chief, and your children: may your hearts feel calm and safe. You are not alone; we are all standing with you.

With love and prayers,

Nwokwu Solomon Chukwuemeka (OKENEPEHU)
