Sometimes, the biggest thing standing between us and an opportunity isn't the lack of ability. It's fear.
Fear of making the wrong decision.
Fear of what people will say.
Fear of losing what we already have.
Fear of what might happen if we try.
But here's something worth thinking about: What if the decision you're avoiding is also costing you something?
I've come to realise that not making a choice is also a choice.
You don't always need to have everything figured out before taking a step. Sometimes, clarity comes from moving, learning and adjusting along the way.
Of course, this doesn't mean being reckless. Consider the consequences, gather the information you need, pray, and separate your fears from the actual facts.
But don't let endless what-ifs make the decision for you.
Have you ever missed an opportunity because you were afraid of what might happen? What did that experience teach you?
