THE SHADOW OF EZEALA
Episode 4 — The Secret of the Bloodline
Amara could not move.
The giant creature stood between the trees, its glowing red eyes fixed on her.
The forest trembled with every breath it took.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
The mysterious woman tightened her grip on Amara's arm.
“Don't look directly into its eyes,” she whispered.
“But... who is it?” Amara asked, her voice shaking.
The woman swallowed hard.
Then she said the words Amara never expected to hear.
“That creature is your father.”
Amara's knees nearly gave way.
“What?!”
The woman nodded slowly, tears filling her remaining eye.
“And I am your mother.”
The world seemed to stop.
“No... my mother is in the village!”
The woman looked away sadly.
“The woman who raised you is your aunt.”
Amara felt her heart pounding wildly.
Everything she had ever known was falling apart.
“Why would she lie to me?”
Before the woman could answer—
A deafening roar exploded through the forest.
RAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
The creature took a step forward.
Trees snapped like dry sticks.
The woman immediately pushed Amara behind her.
“You must leave now!”
“Not until you tell me the truth!”
The woman hesitated.
Then she spoke quickly.
“Twenty years ago, Chief Ezeala made a deal with the Forest Spirit.”
Lightning flashed across the sky.
“He wanted wealth. Power. A throne no one could take from him.”
Amara listened in horror.
“The spirit granted his wish. But every gift has a price.”
The woman pointed at the approaching creature.
“The price was blood.”
Amara's stomach twisted.
The creature growled again.
Closer now.
“When I discovered what Ezeala had done, I tried to stop the ritual.”
Tears rolled down her face.
“But I was too late.”
Suddenly, Amara noticed something strange.
The creature wasn't attacking.
It was staring at her.
Almost... sadly.
Then it spoke.
Its voice sounded like thunder.
“Amara...”
The forest went silent.
The woman gasped.
“No... that's impossible.”
The creature took another step.
“My daughter...”
Amara's heart stopped.
How could a monster know her name?
Then, for the first time, she noticed something shocking.
Around the creature's neck hung a necklace.
A simple wooden pendant.
The exact same pendant she had worn since childhood.
The same pendant her aunt claimed was left by her parents.
The creature slowly raised its hand.
And showed her the matching half.
Amara stared in disbelief.
The pendant fit perfectly.
Then the creature whispered:
“Ezeala stole you from me.”
Suddenly, a scream echoed through the forest.
Chief Ezeala had arrived.
And this time...
He wasn't alone.
Behind him stood dozens of black masquerades.

THE SHADOW OF EZEALA
Episode 3 — The Woman in the Forest
The entire village watched helplessly as Amara walked toward the forbidden forest.
Step by step.
Like someone trapped inside a dream.
“AMARA!” her mother cried desperately.
But Amara did not answer.
The wind grew stronger.
Dust and leaves swirled violently across the ground while the three masquerades laughed like hyenas in the dark.
Chief Ezeala stood silently under the rain.
Watching.
Waiting.
Then suddenly—
Amara crossed the boundary of the forest.
Instantly…
Everything became quiet.
The rain stopped.
The wind disappeared.
Even the crickets went silent.
The villagers gasped in fear.
Old Mama Nkem began crying immediately.
“She has entered the land of spirits…”
Inside the forest, Amara’s breathing became shaky.
The trees were too still.
Too dark.
It felt as if the forest itself was watching her.
Then she heard it again.
That lullaby.
Soft.
Gentle.
Painful.
“Nwa m… come to me…”
Amara followed the voice carefully through the trees until she reached a small clearing.
And there—
She saw a woman.
The woman wore a long white wrapper stained with mud.
Her hair touched the ground.
Her back faced Amara.
Slowly…
The woman began singing the lullaby again.
Amara’s eyes filled with tears.
She knew that voice.
Impossible.
“Mama…?” she whispered.
The woman stopped singing.
Then her head turned slowly backward—
Without moving the rest of her body.
Amara screamed.
The woman’s face was horribly disfigured.
One eye missing.
Black veins crawling across her skin.
Yet somehow—
She looked familiar.
Very familiar.
The woman smiled sadly.
“You look just like me…”
Amara stumbled backward in terror.
“Who are you?!”
Before the woman could answer—
A terrifying growl echoed through the forest.
The ground shook violently.
Birds exploded out of the trees.
Then huge footsteps approached from the darkness.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
The strange woman’s expression changed instantly.
Fear.
Real fear.
“He found you…”
Amara’s heart pounded wildly.
“Who found me?”
The woman grabbed Amara suddenly.
Her hands were ice cold.
Then she whispered:
“Your real father.”
BOOOOOOM!!!
A gigantic shadow emerged from the darkness between the trees.
Tall.
Massive.
Not human.
And its glowing red eyes locked directly onto Amara.

Then who is the terrifying creature inside the forest? 👀🔥

Amara thought her father’s return was the end of the nightmare…

But she was WRONG 😨

Because the village didn’t just welcome Chief Ezeala back—

The forest came with him 👀

And now, a voice from the darkness is calling Amara… using a lullaby only her mother should know 😭

Then came the words that shook the village:

“The forest has chosen its daughter.”

💀 And just like that… Amara started walking into the forbidden forest.

Nobody could stop her.

Not even the wind.

Not even her own mother.

THE SHADOW OF EZEALA
Episode 2 — The Forest Chooses
Rain poured heavily across Umuoka village as fear swallowed the night.
Nobody moved.
Nobody spoke.
Chief Ezeala still stood in the middle of the village square, his glowing white eyes fixed on Amara.
Then suddenly—
Amara’s mother collapsed.
“Mama!” Amara screamed, rushing toward her.
The old women quickly gathered around her while the three black masquerades began moving slowly in circles.
The ground trembled beneath their feet.
One of the elders fell on his knees immediately.
“It has begun…” he whispered fearfully.
Amara looked around in confusion.
“What has begun?! Somebody tell me what is happening!”
But nobody answered her.
Instead—
The villagers avoided her eyes.
As if she had suddenly become cursed.
Then Chief Ezeala finally spoke again.
His voice no longer sounded human.
It echoed like many voices speaking together.
“The forest has waited long enough.”
Lightning flashed across the sky.
BOOOOM!
And for one second—
Amara saw something horrifying.
Chief Ezeala’s shadow…
Had horns.
She stumbled backward in terror.
“No… you are not my father…”
The chief smiled slowly.
“Your mother lied to you.”
Gasps filled the village.
Amara turned sharply toward her unconscious mother.
“What does that mean?!”
Before anybody could answer—
One of the masquerades pointed toward the sacred forest.
And deep inside the darkness—
A woman began singing.
A soft haunting song.
The exact same lullaby Amara’s mother used to sing to her as a child.
Amara froze instantly.
Her heart pounded wildly.
How was that possible?
Again the voice sang from the forest.
Closer this time.
Then suddenly—
Amara’s mother woke up screaming.
“DON’T LET HER ENTER THE FOREST!”
But it was already too late.
Because Amara had started walking.
Slowly.
As if something invisible was pulling her.
Villagers screamed and tried holding her—
But a violent wind pushed everybody away.
The masquerades began laughing.
And Chief Ezeala whispered:
“The forest has chosen its daughter.”
Then Amara stopped walking.
Right at the edge of the forest.
And in the darkness between the trees—
Two glowing eyes opened.
