Today, we officially received members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from across Ogun West Senatorial District into our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), as they formally declared their decision to join the progressive family and work with us towards the success of our party in the 2027 general elections.

The new members were drawn from all the local government areas of Ogun West, further broadening the strength and reach of our party across the senatorial district. We also welcomed the State Legal Adviser of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who formally joined the APC during the event.

Alongside our State Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi; our governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, YAYI, CON, FCA; his running mate, Alhaja Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun; and other leaders and stakeholders of our party, we warmly welcomed our new members and assured them that they are now fully part of the APC family.

We reaffirmed that our party remains a broad and inclusive political family where every member is accorded equal rights, respect and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully. Together, we will continue to strengthen our party, deepen unity across Ogun State and work collectively towards the 2027 elections.

POA LEADS PUBLICITY AS GOVERNOR'S BOYS MEET IN YEWA NORTH

Yewa North Governor's Boys held its first zonal leadership meeting today at Agroterra, Joga Orile, with publicity for the gathering led by Hon. Prince Oluwafemi Akinlawon (POA), Media and Publicity lead for the Movement in Yewa North Local Government.

The meeting brought together LGA executives, ward coordinators, and grassroots stakeholders to strategise ahead of the Movement's official launch in Ilaro this Wednesday, part of a wider mobilisation drive backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Asiwaju), Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), and the full slate of APC aspirants across Ogun State.

"This is a movement gathering weight by the week," said Coordinator Aninku Naheem. "Yewa North is adding its full strength to a wave already building across the state."

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Coordinator Hammad Texaco and Leader Bankole Muhammad, with POA's publicity effort ensuring the gathering's message reached beyond the room, positioning Yewa North's mobilisation firmly within the statewide conversation ahead of 2027.

Further mobilisation activities are expected in the coming days, building toward the Movement's launch in Ilaro.
