The long awaited 6 months is finally wrapping up today!!!
What started as uncertainty and figuring things out step by step has now turned into growth, confidence, and graduation. 🎓
And truly, this journey has been transformational.
A few months ago, I enrolled in the Dev and Design Bootcamp driven by curiosity, passion, and the desire to become a better designer.
I already knew I needed to be good to a level, I wasn't chasing perfection but clarity from where I was to where I want to be. I loved creativity, visual storytelling, and problem-solving, but I also understood that I needed proper guidance, structure, and the right environment to grow.
From understanding the core principles of UI/UX design to exploring design thinking, user research, wireframing, design systems, and prototyping…
To learning Framer, AI workflows, PRDs, markdown files, Git, version control, and collaborating on real-world AI-powered products.
I unlearned a whole lot, I relearned and still learning, the experience came with both exciting moments and reflecting moments, because lots of emotions were up during this process ranging from the long nights, Endless assignments, Tight deadlines, Quiz preparations, Webinars and many more...Not to talk about moments like having to question myself if this was really worth it, moment I felt to actually quit and not being enough.
Not to talk about the pressure that came off building my capstone project,
None of it was easy and was taken for granted, but every challenge helped shape the person and designer I’m becoming.
Today, I’m celebrating more than just completing a bootcamp.
I’m celebrating:
✨ Growth
✨ Discipline
✨ Consistency
✨ Confidence
✨ And the evolution of my design journey

Special thanks to my tutor Joseph Brendan for your patience, clarity, mentorship, and for teaching us to think beyond aesthetics and become better product thinkers.

And finally, to my late friend, colleague, work buddy whom I started this journey with but left almost at the finish line, she couldn't fight through to the End of time, well we did because this bootcamp won't be complete without you in it.
And to everyone who has supported me from the beginning and everyone just joining my journey thank you for every encouragement, message, engagement, and kind word. It truly means so much.
This graduation isn’t the finish line.
It’s the start of something even bigger.
