Meaning of a copy breakdown from Joseph sugar man book; the ad week copywriting handbook.

1. Headline: To get your attention and draw you to the sub- headline.

2. Subheadline: To give you more information and further ex- plain the attention-getting headline.

3. Photo or Drawing: To get your attention and to illustrate the product more fully.

4. Caption: To describe the photo or drawing. This is an im- portant element and one that is often read.

5. Copy: To convey the main selling message for your product or service.

6. Paragraph Headings: To break up the copy into chunks, thereby making the copy look less imposing.

7. Logo: To display the name of the company selling the prod- uct.

8. Price: To let the reader know what the product or service costs. The price could be in large type or could be buried in the copy.

9. Response Device: To give the reader a way to respond to the ad, by using the coupon, toll-free number or ordering infor- mation, usually near the end of the ad.

10. Overall Layout: To provide the overall appearance for the ad, by using effective graphic design for the other element

The way google (search engines ) works can be classified into 3:
1. They crawl
2. They index
3. The rank

Before you read further, here's a disclaimer” 🙁google has over 200 ranking factors” but

you gotta take note of these 3, because it's critical, without it, the rest are.....🚫.

And yeah I'll explain that😁
Ok so👇

Search engines use crawlers /bots to go to each webpage that is permitted to crawl and crawl the webpage, yea you read right permitted 📌

Ok assume your webpage is a store at a local market

for your type of content, and crawlers/bots are people who come to take what you allow them to take(information) so that they can take it to a general market (index) so whenever

someone searches 🔍 for any info the crawlers got, your information can be displayed, among so many others related to yours

Yep among others😳(here's where other ranking factors come in place ).

Ranking majorly depends on how relevant your content is, backlinks, the usefulness of the website, and other ranking factors. (There are 200+ ranking factors).

So after crawling and indexing, take more of the remaining ranking factors.🎯

Summary:

The index is just like a showroom, lots of information are there.

Crawlers take the info from your website to the index.

Try to make your content the best, so you'll rank.

So here's why I said without the 3/2 other factors are not relevant.

If your website is not visible it won't rank.
Lol obviously

So make sure google can CRAWL your website 😁

I often see SEO/SEM on pages, websites, searches, but never really understood what it meant😪.

Wellll, as someone that’s curious and eager to learn and grow, I took time to look into it👍🤓.

And yea, I got it!!😱
so to simplify it
SEO is optimizing your website to get ranked organically, this could be achieved by updating, restructuring your website to get visible, to your targeted audience.

Looking at the slides you can see that there’s no “ad” written beside it.
That means that site is ranking organically 😱😱Here you don’t PAY

While for SEM you PAY 💰, to know you will see a “ad” written beside it.
Hope you know the difference 😇.
