Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS, You stood before Rivers people today and claimed that Tinubu is the only President who has genuinely related with Rivers State. Really? Under President Goodluck Jonathan, Rivers indigenes occupied major federal positions: Henry Odein Ajumogobia was Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nyesom Wike himself was Minister of State for Education, and Kenneth Kobani was Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment. Beyond the cabinet, Rivers people also held prominent positions in federal boards and agencies, including Lee Maeba at the Federal Housing Authority, James Sekibo at the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority and Ernest Nwapa at NCDMB.

The irony is that you are one of the living beneficiaries of the very administration you are trying to erase from history. Jonathan appointed you a minister, and today you want Rivers people to believe that Tinubu invented federal inclusion for the state? My brother, history has a very long memory. Before you praise-singing Tinubu as the “only” President who related with Rivers, perhaps check your own appointment letter from Goodluck Jonathan. The record is there—and it is louder than today’s political speech.

The landmark gathering brought together members of the National Working Committee (NWC), the NDC Governorship Candidate in Rivers State Chief Dumo Lulu - Briggs, party leaders, members of the NDC, the Kwankwasiyya Movement, the Obidient Movement, and other patriotic Nigerians united by a shared vision for a better Nigeria.

In 2027 Nigeria presidential election, I am for David against Goliath.

I just hope the opposition especially, Peter Obi will make the election a real David v Goliath fight. Do not wear the armor of Goliath. Be light. Go to the ordinary people of Nigeria and offer them a strong reason to rise up against the criminal and thieving class.
