Married Women What's Going On?
This Rain Could Be Responsible.

A man said to be from Ajiyolo, Kogi State, has reportedly gone into hiding after he was allegedly caught in a hotel with a married woman in Anyigba.

According to information making the rounds, the man has allegedly been involved in similar incidents in the past. Sources claim that he is known for approaching married women, particularly those considered attractive, in an attempt to establish intimate relationships with them.

In the latest incident, the man allegedly invited the married woman to a hotel in Anyigba. It was gathered that a friend of the woman's husband reportedly spotted the pair together and immediately informed the husband.

Following the incident, the man reportedly fled the area and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has intercepted 8,287 nylon bags of substance suspected to be Canadian Loud weighing 4,143.5 Kilo grammes at the Apapa seaport in Lagos.

Mr Babafemi said the drugs worth over N10.3 billion in street value were discovered in a container imported from Canada during a joint examination of the shipment by NDLEA officers, Customs personnel and other security agencies on July 10.

The Chief of Administration (Army), Major General IM Abdullahi, on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff formally handed over 5,300 newly recruited soldiers to the Commandant, Depot Nigerian Army, Osogbo, Brigadier General BM Madaki, for the commencement of their basic military training.

The handover signals the beginning of the recruits’ foundational military training at the Depot, where they will undergo a rigorous six-month programme aimed at developing them into disciplined, combat-ready and professional soldiers capable of meeting the operational demands of the Nigerian Army.

The recruits are part of the 91 Regular Recruit Intake, following a nationwide recruitment exercise successfully conducted by the Director, Directorate of Recruitment Nigerian Army, Brigadier General I Sule.

Receiving the recruits, the Commandant, Depot Nigerian Army, Osogbo, Brigadier General BM Madaki, pledged to transform them into disciplined and combat-ready soldiers in line with the Nigerian Army’s professional standards through intensive military training and character development.
