As a business owner, do you know what "conversion" means in marketing?

Conversion is the desired action taken by a customer after interacting with your marketing efforts.

Examples:
- Form submissions
- Sales
- Sign-ups
- Downloads
- App installs

How to Calculate Your Conversion Rate:
Conversion Rate (CVR) = (Conversions ÷ Total Ad Impressions or Clicks) x 100

Example:
1000 impressions, 50 clicks, 5 sales
CVR = (5 ÷ 50) x 100 = 10%

I ran a car ad last week, but forgot to include the price. I assumed everyone would know the car's worth. Here's what happened...

The ad ran for 2 days, starting at 6 am. By 9-10 am, I began receiving calls. To my surprise, every caller made offers:

- One offered 2.5 million
- Another offered 2.8 million
- Someone else offered 3 million

But the car's actual price is 3.8 million, considering its perfect condition and registration.

My observations before pausing the ad:

1. Many callers only asked about the price without intending to buy.
2. Most callers were unqualified or resellers seeking the best price to resell.
3. Serious buyers made offers via calls, not through submitted phone numbers.

Lesson learned: Always include the price in ads, especially if you don't have a LANDING PAGE that sells the product.

Price awareness qualifies leads. Every ad view, click, and call costs money.

Money spent, lesson learned.
