Every time a new AI model gets released, the conversation quickly becomes:

"Is this going to replace humans?"

I think we're asking the wrong question.

Have you ever received an email reminding you to pay for something you have already paid for?

Then, at the bottom of the email, you see: “Please ignore this email if you have already paid.” 😂

That email immediately tells you one that this is a generic email.

And generic communication can make your customers feel like nobody is really paying attention to them.

That's why I built this automation.

I built this simple automation to solve this problem that could easily become a full-time manual task.

I needed to send a 7-day email sequence to leads for my AI Automation Challenge.

Normally, that means:

→ Checking the lead list every day
→ Identifying who should receive today's email
→ Confirming the leads that just came in
→ Ensuring that anyone who ahs paid doesn't receive another email
→ Sending the correct email
→ Remembering who has already received what
→ Updating the spreadsheet
→ Repeating the process tomorrow
→ And doing it again for the next 7 days.

Not anymore.

I built the entire thing with n8n and the workflow is surprisingly simple:

From Google Sheets → Check the lead → Switch based on the day → Send the appropriate Gmail email → Update the spreadsheet.

That's it.

The automation now handles the repetitive work in the background while I focus on other things. And that's what I love about automation.

You don't always need a complicated workflow with 50 nodes to create something valuable. Sometimes, a few well-connected steps can eliminate hours of repetitive work.

The interesting part is that the actual problem isn't "sending emails." The problem is consistently following up with hundreds of people without forgetting anyone.
