Governor Sheriff Oborevwori: Advancing Delta State Through Choice Projects And Financial Discipline - Ambassador Ebenezer Nsaka

The Founder and Chairman of NEC Foundation Ambassador Ebenezer C. Nsaka (Onyèchukwugozi) has hailed the Executive Governor of Delta State H.E. Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori JP for taking concrete steps to advance the state, especially through swift presentation/appendage of the 2026 Budget, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Agbor Flyover Project in Ika South LGA and the absence of borrowing, since taking office.

In a statement made available to Roundtown Media, Amb Nsaka, also a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Aniocha North, expressed his pleasure with the present administration in the state, while extolling the level of maturity exhibited by the governor since defecting to the APC last year.

" There are a lot of reasons to salute the administration of Gov Sheriff Oborevwori. He has been sincere, mature and very willing to carry along everyone ready to contribute to good governance. Take for instance, the quick passage of the 2026 budget, it may be one of those things we take for granted, but the prompt presentation of the budget is a major statement that has communicated the governor's desire to work in an orderly, accountable and effective manner. The details of the budget are also indicative of an intention to ensure the delivery of infrastructure projects across the state," he added.

Speaking further, the former House of Assembly and LGA Chairmanship aspirant praised the Governor for the successful groundbreaking exercise for the Agbor Flyover Project which was held recently, describing the feat as a clear indication of the governor's detribalised nature and love for all deltans.

Ambassador Ebenezer Nsaka stated " In terms of the budget and improved infrastructure, the recently held Groundbreaking ceremony for the 60Billion naira Agbor Flyover Project is laudable, and clearly convinces Deltans that Governor Sheriff is running a government for all. It explains what I said earlier about the Governor being detribalised because before now and even with the completion of the Ughelli-Asaba Expressway, some persons were alleging that choice projects were not being done in Delta North.

" However, when you add the Agbor Flyover Project which has now started, and the Asaba Waterfront City Project, there is little to use against the Governor, and I believe with all he is doing, all Deltans should support his government.

" Also, these projects are financially intensive but the good thing is that they are being done without borrowing funds. Of course, as an economic expert, I am not against borrowing, but in a case where it is not necessary to borrow, we must commend the Governor for resisting the temptation to do so. The Rt.Hon Sheriff Oborevwori administration is opening our eyes to certain possibilities through what can be identified as Sincerity, and God-willing the administration will serve its full cycle till 2031," Ambassador Nsaka concluded.

DELTA NORTH APC NEW MEDIA COMMUNITY

PRESS STATEMENT:

DELTA NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT AND THE OLD-APC STOCK MUST PRODUCE THE NEXT CHAIRMAN OF APC IN DELTA STATE.

The Delta North APC New Media Community seizes this medium to commend the President H.E Senator (Asiwaju) Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress APC, in retrospect, for the 6-month tenure extension given to all organs of the party in July 2025, to terminate on the 31st of December.

We believe this move contributed a lot to the strengthening and stability that the party has continued to enjoy, especially within the past 6 months, where notable developments have defined the present realities of the party and its chapters across the country, including Delta State.

The Delta North APC New Media Community as a pressure group within the APC in Delta State, considers it important that with the 6-month extension coming to an end in exactly 20 days from the date this statement was made public, cautious steps must be taken to ensure that the party continues to represent core ideals of progressive politics, while taking cognizance of the uniqueness of Delta State.

Progressive Politics seeks to establish the bonds of brotherhood, foster a sense of belonging, and also point society to the path of development.

Since its formation, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has communicated its understanding of the sensitive constitution of the nation, and has constantly ensured equitable distribution of offices at the National, Zonal, and State levels, and as the party begins to take suggestive steps towards the conduct of a Congress, there are certain necessities which the national leadership must take, regarding the Delta State Chapter of the party.

In the nearly 12 years since the party came into existence, the Chairmanship of the APC Delta State has been domiciled between the Delta South and Delta Central Senatorial Districts respectively.

For the avoidance of doubt, the first Chairman of Delta APC Apostle Jones Erue Ode served until 2022, for two full tenures. He is an Isoko Man from Delta South.

At the congresses of 2022 Elder Omeni Sobotie emerged as the Chairman of Delta State, despite pleas and strong calls to cede the Chairmanship to the Delta North Senatorial District, in view of the agreement to cede the governorship ticket to Delta Central.

This development caused a strong feeling of rejection and a lack of partnership with the then prevailing influence in the APC.

The Delta North APC New Media Community acknowledges that the defection of the Governor and entire PDP structure to the APC is easily the biggest development to happen to the party in Delta State, and while we continue to work towards solidifying the union that exists, certain necessities that speak to the fabric of progressive politics must be placed at the fore of future political developments.

The Delta North Senatorial District of Delta State is yet to produce the State Chairman of the APC, and as the December 31st 2025 expiration date for all party leadership organs, the Delta North APC New Media Community makes the following resolutions:

1. That the present outgoing leadership of the party in the state be commended for their pivotal role, especially in stabilising the party upon the defection of the Governor and the Delta PDP structure.

2. That the Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevowri JP understudies the developments in Delta APC to see the need to cede the party Chairmanship to Delta North Senatorial District, at the next State Congress of the party.

3. That the party instructs all other aspirants who are not of Delta North origin to step down, in the bid to promote justice, fairness and a sense of belonging.

4. That the party hierarchy takes cognisance of the fact that eminent and qualified aspirants from Delta North Senatorial District exist, and are among the first set of individuals to register their interest and intentions to lead the party in Delta state.

5. That Delta North Senatorial District, having supported the final decisions of the party at all times, deserves and demands to be supported to produce the next state chairman of the Party.

6. That the choice from among all available aspirants must be one from the Old-APC or pre-2025 defection stock.

In its advocacy for a State party Chairman from Delta North Senatorial District, the Delta North APC New Media Community calls all party leaders from the Senatorial District to begin working assiduously and above self, for the realisation of this agitation, with particular mention of;

Senator Prince Ned Nwoko
Senator Representing Delta North Senatorial District,

H.E. Sir Sir Monday Onyeme - Odoziani
Deputy Governor of Delta State,

H.E. Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa
Immediate past Governor of Delta State,

Rt Hon Engr Ochei Esq, FNSE,
Former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly,

Sir Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu PhD,
Deputy Chief of Staff (House Of Reps), amongst others.

The Delta North APC New Media Community also seizes this medium to acknowledge the boldness of Delta North party men who indicated interest and have continued to consult towards their respective projects, namely

Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma NAS (Chairman, Aniocha South APC),

Comrade Johnson Onaiwu,

Comrade Chidi Okonji
(Pioneer Secretary, Delta APC), and

High Chief Gabriel Ohai,

The Delta North APC New Media Community acknowledges the capacity of a few persons on the list, and calls on party faithful and leaders to assess the options and choose the most suitable.

In the coming weeks, the Delta North APC New Media Community will embark on its internal selection process to pick the most suitable Chairmanship candidate, which we will communicate to the public, with credible reasons to buttress it.

Nevertheless, the Delta North APC New Media Community is fully committed and focused on its demands for the Next Chairman of the Party to emerge from Delta North Senatorial District.

APC......Renewed Hope!!!!

Comrade Ikechukwu C. Chukwudi-Abiandu

The Ebenezer Nsaka Of Innovation And Capacity.

It has been over a week since the highly anticipated Charity Fitness Walk organised by Ambassador Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka, through his NEC foundation, was held, and while the world saw the efforts of a philanthropist towards contributing his meaningful quota to social development, participants at the event have been inspired, having enjoyed a morale-boosting engagement that is sure to leave them with one, two or three life lessons on healthy living.

The Charity Fitness Walk was Ambassador Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka's way of drawing the attention of society to the essence of regular and meticulous health check and assessment, having always nurtured that interest in healthy living and lifestyle.

According to online research, walking provides numerous benefits, including improved cardiovascular and mental health, stronger bones and muscles, and better weight management.

It also helps reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Regular walking also boosts mood, increases energy, improves sleep, and can even enhance your immune system and eyesight.

For Ebenezer C. Nsaka, there can't be too much attention on health and healthy living, and from the preceding paragraphs, fitness walks whether long or short, offer one of the easiest and most reliable practices of maintaining a sickness-free life.

Through the successful completion of the NEC Foundation Charity Fitness Walk, Ebenezer Nsaka has continued to exemplify the mindset that has empowered him to become one of the most sought-after young CEOs and philanthropists from Aniocha North LGA and Delta North Senatorial District. The Fitness Walk despite its resounding success, only represents one out of the numerous projects Ambassador Ebenezer Nsaka has invested personal resources and time in.

Through the NEC Foundation, he has reached out to youths, women (widows), institutions, and organisations, assisting, complementing, and in instances like the Fitness Walk, pioneering noble causes.

His engagements are not philanthropic alone Ebenezer maintains a strong call for social development and has also been deeply involved in processes which led to the success of various political office holders.

His record of political engagements is attestable, having been an aspirant for the Aniocha North House of Assembly Seat and the Aniocha North Local Government Chairman's office.

Individuals like Ambassador Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka have continued to represent the much-needed positivity and decency that the Delta State and Aniocha North political space greatly needs today, and one only wonders why the government of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori JP has not acknowledged the efforts of this new generation sociopolitical force that simmers with great potential, which the administration can also make good use of.

Ambassador Nsaka is a man humble and unassuming, ready to make an impact, and possessing a goodwill that continues to grow, generating recognition and making him a much sought-after asset for individuals whose eyes are open.

Be that as it may, one thing is certain, Ebenezer Nsaka is an emerging force, pioneering a new approach to social development that is defined by progressive politics and sincere philanthropy.

PUBLIC STATEMENT

A video recently brought to my attention shows a young woman who visited with her team under the Peace Ambassadors initiative, led by Ambassador Dr. Adejo Sule, and it is now being circulated online with false claims attempting to affiliate me with her. It is unfortunate what social media has become, a space where moments are easily twisted for clout and misinformation.

During the visit, photographs were taken with members of the delegation, as is customary whenever I receive guests. This is not unusual; even in public places or outdoor events, people often request to take pictures with me, and I oblige. It is therefore mischievous and malicious for anyone to exploit such gestures to fabricate false narratives.

Let me state clearly and unequivocally that the news being propagated around her visit is entirely false. I do not have any form of personal or private connection with her.

I strongly caution individuals, groups, or media outlets spreading this fabricated story to desist immediately. Any further propagation of this false narrative will attract appropriate legal action. The Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015 remains in full force and applies to anyone involved in the deliberate spread of falsehood or defamation in cyberspace.
