When infrastructure became art, the landscape came alive.
In Iceland, architects proposed a bold reimagining of ordinary power lines by transforming them into colossal, human-shaped towers striding across the land. Instead of blending into the background, these structures were designed to stand tall and dramatic, turning utility infrastructure into visual storytelling.
The concept challenged how people perceive industrial design in natural spaces. By giving power lines a human form, the project aimed to spark curiosity, conversation, and emotional connection with the landscape. It showed that even functional necessities can become powerful works of art—where engineering, imagination, and environment move together in striking harmony.
