This is a mock-up design of my book that'd be out on 3rd April 2026.

Please overlook the typography, the teaser and final cover design will be unveiled around March 2026.

You may be curious about the spark behind this book. Well, this is not a sudden project or a passing idea. It is a work that has taken time, thought, seen experiences, and deep reflection.

In due course, I will share a series of posts that will serve as a tip of the iceberg, offering glimpses into the themes, stories, and realities captured in the book.

Alongside this, there will be a podcast version of the book, which will be released soon.

The podcast is designed to go beyond written words. It will allow you to see and hear the stories of Nigerians, told directly by those who live them.

The podcast version is not a reading of the book, but a deeper extension of it, complementing the main publication scheduled for 3rd April 2026.

Please stay expectant and keep an eye out for everything mentioned here.

This is a book and podcast project that tells the Nigerian story from the streets.

Beyond online statistics or words by people of affluence who do not care about the real grassroot hurt, this book brings you the exposรฉ of the unheard that you do imagine.

This book would prove a point to you that your imaginations are actually living and evidential in some regions of Nigeria.

There is much more to come!

Stop Underrating What Can Build Your Future, Because Small Opportunities Can Become Big Regrets!

Some people move through life without realising the value of what they have until it is gone, not because the opportunity wasnโ€™t meaningful, but because it came in a form that looked too familiar or too small to command attention.

Many do not see that what they casually overlook today might be the very thing capable of shaping the bigger picture of their future.

Opportunities to serve as a volunteer or to be part of a growing vision is always trivialised. in most cases, these opportunities are wrapped in simple duties, everyday routines, and responsibilities that do not look grand at first sight.

And because they appear ordinary, people treat them lightly, forgetting that greatness often begins in places that donโ€™t look like much.

Life has its own way of revealing the importance of what was once taken for granted. When the moment passes and reality begins to settle, they finally understand that the role they trivialised was a doorway, the platform they neglected was a ladder, and the space they abandoned carried seeds of the progress they now desperately seek.

By then, pride begins to speak louder than sense, ego blocks the path to humility, and instead of returning to adjust their ways, they choose to keep walking in circles, missing out again and again.

The truth is that what looks little often carries the potential for the life one dreams of. What appears ordinary today might be the ground where tomorrowโ€™s elevation is hidden.

When people fail to value small beginnings, they unknowingly push away the same future they desire.

Sometimes, all a person truly needs is the wisdom to recognise the gift in simple places and the humility to stay committed to where growth is quietly unfolding.

If youโ€™re in a place (volunteering or a job) where youโ€™ve begun to look down on your duties or slip into small inconsistencies, pause, take note, and make the adjustment while thereโ€™s still time.

Cheers mate!

Itโ€™s interesting how people crave access before theyโ€™ve even earned trust. Everyone wants to have the attention of certain people, yet very few are willing to genuinely serve, follow wholeheartedly, or be obedient to process.

Thereโ€™s this growing sense of entitlement where people feel they deserve time, attention, and even resources from someone they have never truly honoured.

We often forget that genuine access isnโ€™t something we demand; itโ€™s something we grow into. Itโ€™s earned through consistency, humility, and honour. Too many want results without the roots, they have no patience for watering the seed.

Itโ€™s the same with mentorship and meaningful relationships. People admire someoneโ€™s journey and instantly want to be close to them, yet theyโ€™ve never invested in the relationship.

They want the voice of guidance without the discipline of following. They want the blessings of connection without the burden of commitment. And when access isnโ€™t granted, they quickly feel offended, forgetting that relationship is not a transaction but a trust that must be built.

Sometimes what looks like desire to learn is actually entitlement in disguise.

True connection flows from honour, not demand. It grows from showing up, serving faithfully, being teachable, and carrying the heart of the vision, not just the benefits of the association.

For some , the process of following genuinely has become too slow for their appetite, so they skip it, chase shortcuts, and end up trivialising what should be treasured. Yet the truth remains: anything you rush, you risk ruining. When you get access prematurely, you mishandle what you were never ready to sustain.

Access is not something you chase; itโ€™s something you attract through posture, service, and character. When your heart is right, doors open naturally.

We must stop treating access like an entitlement and start seeing it as a privilege. When you honour someone and serve genuinely, you wonโ€™t have to push for attention; your fruit will speak for itself, and youโ€™d be deserving of attention.

Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress - The Giant of Africa ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

โ€œUnity and Faith, Peace and Progress.โ€
These are not just words beneath the Coat of Arms. They are the soul of our nation. A simple motto, yet so deeply powerful, a reminder of the values we must hold onto, especially in these trying and transformative times.

In a land of over 250 ethnic groups, countless languages, and vibrant cultures, unity is not about being the same, itโ€™s about choosing to stand together despite our differences.
From the bustling markets of Onitsha to the serene hills of Jos, from the shores of Lagos to the far corners of Borno, we are one people, bound by shared hopes and collective dreams.

Yes, our diversity can be challenging, but it is also our greatest gift. Each community, each tradition, adds a piece to the puzzle that is Nigeria. And when we see each other not as strangers, but as family, we tap into the true power of unity.

Faith in ourselves.
Faith in our potential.
Faith that Nigeria can and will rise.

This isnโ€™t blind optimism, itโ€™s the unshakable belief that no matter how tough things get, we will keep moving. Weโ€™ve been through so much economic struggles, insecurity, political unrest. But we are still here. Still striving. Still pushing forward.

Faith is what keeps us building businesses against all odds, raising families in hope, and showing up day after day to make this country better in whatever way we can.

Peace doesnโ€™t just mean the absence of war. It means safety. Dignity. Respect.
It means a country where people can speak freely, worship freely, and walk their streets without fear.
Peace is something we all must protect, not just through government policies, but in how we treat each other every day. In our homes. On the roads. Online.

A peaceful Nigeria is possible and it starts with each of us choosing dialogue over violence, compassion over conflict.

We all want a Nigeria that works, where education is strong, opportunities are fair, infrastructure is solid, and leadership is accountable. We are not there yet. But that doesnโ€™t mean we stop dreaming, or working toward that future.

Progress is already happening in small ways and big ones. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌโค

Let me gist you about my Day at BRITISH COUNCIL today!

One of the most important lessons Iโ€™m learning in my journey is this: introductions matter. Not just the โ€œHello, my name isโ€ฆโ€ kind of introduction, but the kind that makes you unforgettable.

So when it was my turn to introduce myself, I said:

โ€œMy name is Godsent Ogbebor. I am a wordsmith. I craft words into stories, stories into voices, and voices into change. Whether through the pen, the screen, or the mic, I tell human-centered narratives that spark thought, connection, and transformation. And yes, Iโ€™m a journalist, a creative, and an education rights activist.โ€

If you follow through, I didn't say I studied this and that, and I'm a journalist bla bla bla... I had to start off by leaving a mark in the hearts of everyone. Yes I mean EVERYONE!!!

That set the tone for the incredible conversations and insights that followed.

Here are my reflections from todayโ€™s session:

At the negotiation table, emotional equity is priceless; the ability to connect genuinely often carries more weight than the words you speak. A handshake, though simple, can silently declare confidence and respect. Breathing well keeps you grounded, while the way you hold your posture speaks volumes before you even utter a word. Eye contact builds trust, and your outfit, whether you notice it or not, becomes part of your message.

I also learned that every conversation is a battlefield of sorts; when you sit down to talk, walk in prepared, knowing youโ€™ve entered an ambush. Preparation empowers you to stand your ground, to say โ€œNOโ€ when necessary, and to insist that every contract or agreement is written, not just spoken.

Beyond negotiations, building a sustainable brand requires tools: a pitch deck that tells your story clearly, an EPK (Electronic Press Kit) that presents your value professionally, and a rate card that defines your worth. Influence and following arenโ€™t just vanity metrics, they are assets that amplify your voice.

And in the same breath, brand evolution reminds us that growth is not a one-time event but a continuous journey of reinvention.

Todayโ€™s session at BRITISH COUNCIL, was more than just a masterclass. ๐Ÿ˜Šโค

..

Some times we indulge some phrases or words, lest we forget these things are more experiential than just words as we see it.

Of course, some of these positive phrase or words are better experienced and by this it's meaning would be lived for and not lying shallow in a mere saying.

I had the privilege to descry on an egghead of my alma mater yesterday.

I usually see him as a pedagogue but it is good not to judge one by hearsay statement.

I thought I knew all there is about planning and answering the question "๐ฐ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐๐จ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ž ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ง๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ ๐Ÿ’ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฌ".

But when this egghead was outlining his life's journey, planning and steadiness in life's plan, I was practically and tactically knowing how one can steady ones path in profession, career or destiny.

I was perplexed because I have never seen or perceived things from the perspective he brought to the table.

My mind began working like a roller coaster so rapid that when he was talking, like a robot I tapped my note pad in my phone and began jotting.

Then again, he said some things that made me tapped on to Chrome and I began doing a study on what he was saying instantaneously.
