One mark of genuine spiritual maturity that does not get nearly enough attention is simple steadfastness.

We live in a culture that celebrates intensity, visibility, dramatic experiences, and quick results. Scripture places enormous value on something quieter: continuing faithfully when nothing feels exciting, when prayers seem unanswered, when obedience becomes costly, and when no one is applauding.

Paul says, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Steadfastness is not stubbornness. It is settled faithfulness rooted in the character and promises of God. It keeps praying when emotion is gone. It keeps opening Scripture when the heart feels dull. It keeps resisting sin when the battle has lasted for years. It keeps serving when recognition never comes.

James says, “Let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing” (James 1:4).

That kind of endurance exposes shallow Christianity very quickly. Anyone can appear strong during a spiritual high. The deeper question is whether we remain faithful through ordinary Mondays, disappointments, unanswered questions, suffering, and long seasons where God seems to be doing very little.

Jesus said, “The one who endures to the end, he will be saved” (Matthew 24:13).

The Christian life is not proved by how loudly we begin. It is shown by whether grace keeps us clinging to Christ all the way to the end.

Spiritual health is not always dramatic. Very often it looks like a believer who simply refuses to let go of Christ. Se†ah

Christ is not merely one delight among many. For the believer, He is the highest treasure, the greatest good, and the One in whom every lesser blessing finds its proper place.

“Whom have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth” (Psalm 73:25).

The world offers pleasures that fade as quickly as they arrive. Possessions break. Success passes. Health fails. People we love eventually leave us. But Christ does not diminish with time, and nothing can exhaust the riches found in Him.

“In Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever” (Psalm 16:11).

This is why Paul could look at everything he once considered gain and call it loss “in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord” (Philippians 3:8). He had found a treasure so great that everything else had to be measured against it.

Christian joy is not pretending that created things have no goodness. Marriage, friendship, food, music, beauty, work, and rest are gifts from God. But when those gifts become greater in our hearts than the Giver, they become idols.

Christ is better.

He is better than the blessing we prayed for, better than the comfort we fear losing, and better than every temporary pleasure sin promises us.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).

The deepest work of grace is not merely teaching us to avoid sinful pleasures. It is opening our eyes to a greater pleasure. The heart begins to discover that what it was desperately searching for in created things was never meant to be found there.

The Christian does not ultimately say, “I gave up everything for Christ.”

He says, “I found Christ, and suddenly everything else became smaller.”

Stop Letting Fear Stop You From Building Wealth in Real Estate.

One of the biggest reasons many Nigerians never invest in real estate isn't because they're poor.
It's because they're afraid.

They've heard stories of people buying fake land.
They've seen friends lose millions to fraudsters.
They believe they need ₦20M or more before they can own property.
So they keep waiting...

The problem is this:
While you're waiting for the "perfect time," land prices aren't waiting for you.
Every year you delay could mean paying significantly more for the same property.

If you're planning to invest in real estate but don't know where to start—or you want to verify a property before making payment—send me a DM.
I'm always happy to help Nigerians make safe and profitable real estate decisions.
