NLC PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON EBS ACTING MD, FESTUS ALENKHE, COMMEND GOV. OKPEBHOLO FOR THE APPOINTMENT
The Nigeria Labour Congress, Edo State Council, has passed a vote of implicit confidence on the Acting Managing Director of the Edo Broadcasting Service, Comrade Festus Alenkhe.

In a Press Release signed by its Acting Chairman, Comrade Bernard Joman Eguakhide, the NLC says it is commending Comrade Festus Alenkhe for unprecedented transformation since assuming office.
The Congress notes that following the appointment of a seasoned journalist with over two decades of experience in EBS by Governor Monday Okpebholo, the station has witnessed renewed vibrancy in news dissemination, streamlined programmes to meet the needs of Edo people, and live news bulletins with reporters across Edo State, Lagos and Abuja.
The statement also cites historic live broadcasts of the funeral of the late Archbishop Augustine Akubeze and the WAFU B final in Burkina Faso as milestones under his leadership.
The NLC expresses appreciation to Governor Okpebholo for the appointment and affirms that Alenkhe's leadership style is one the labour movement wants sustained.
