Seek understanding

True progress begins with understanding and understanding is sth you must seek to have.

There are two major ways we approach things in life;

Firstly: From an angle of assumptions, guessing, what you think and believe it's....

Secondly: From an angle of organized, tried and proven information.

We rarely approach things from the second. By nature we love the first; it's easy. We just do what we think.

This is seen in career, business, finance and relationships.

Graphics designing for instance is sth you can do what you think and just get by for years but be assured you will never smell the top and the best the industry holds for the top performers, you will never touch.

Part of been strategic in life is seeking understanding through education. By education, I mean a way, approach or method that has been tried by thousands of experts in that given pursuit and proven to be the right approach to achieve a desired result.

Seeking understanding through education saves you years wasted on unguided trial & error, assumptions. It helps you get to your desired result faster.
